Would it be possible to buy replacement cables for the ocz 600W I have ? It’s semi modular and is missing the two 6+2 pins for gpu , and the other two extras I don’t know what they are . @Kanna

Ouhkay understandable . I have a thermal take 600W I believe it was . It’s a semi modular , but I bought it used and it was missing the 6+2 pin for GPU . Where would I buy a replacement for that ? Everywhere I’ve looked just has splitters , or the entire power supply lol I just need to cables to plug into gpu , it’s got a 4+4 for cpu which I can’t remember if it’s needed or not but it’s there lol @Darpyface @Kanna

I’m looking to run an amd fx 6300 ( I think , just guessing because I don’t want to plug the computer in and look Lol ) and I would like to run 2 asus r9 270 in SLI from what I’ve managed to teaser has and figure out is the GPUs will need 300wats , and the CPU 120wats . So at minimum I need a 450 , but I’m going to shoot for 500wat . Leave some head room for over clocking and such just incase . if I’m wrong , could I be corrected please ? And if I’m not wrong , then what would be the best but still cheap power supply I should go with . I have a couple 500W silverstone , powersupplys I pulled from older computers , could I just get connectors/splitters , and split something into another 6 pin . And while I’m at it 2 more 6 pins , so I could run SLI .

I’m pretty sure that’s all my buddy did . Script kiddie . And DDOS-Ing routers . That’s all I’m worried about , is having that happen to me . How could I prevent that ? @TetraSky @kelvinhall05 @Blue4130

Budget is a bit of a thing I gotta worry about . Still out of work and sitting on a few systems waiting to sell . but I was looking at that Star was titan . If I ever get that much saved up I’m getting that one lol but for the time being I can deal with something simpler. I’m running a gtx 1050ti Mini right now . So an upgraded is needed but don’t need to go too damn much of upgrade lol I only play apex and games like ark , and I steam . I’ve tried my hand in editing and don’t have the patience lol @dizmo @Fasauceome @Jurrunio

Going to use for my personal rig so don’t like completely bottle neck me or like kill my pockets lol . I’m going to try for straight team green build , and I’m going to try to make everything green . Currently even the mobo I’m using still has a green pcb lol it’s from a business model I think . It’s an acer board . Intel core i7 6700 non k still working on that part lol . Black Corsair AIO . So eventually that will be swapped out for an rgb one . But because it’s my personal rig I don’t care about to much jank or it being too ugly , just not too too ugly you feel me lol . I’ve been looking for a green case that I like but haven’t really found one yet . The shade of green I’m going for is The Green Bastard from Trailer Park Boys . I know some parts arnt going to be exactly that shade of green and that’s Ouhkay just as long as I can find a case that is somewhat that shade lol

I had a friend who said he knew how to boot and all that jazz . We are no longer talking . He is a petty child lol , so is there any protection from this maybe happening? And if it dose happen is there a way for me to block it but still see the fact it tried to happen?

I have subnatica for s , ark for a , gta v for v and I’m only missing something that has an E then I have save lol next would be G A M E lol and are there any other games that have any other letters ? Give myself some other ideas of what to spell out

Sticking with orange , Star Wars rebels you know what I’m saying orange and like that whiteish gray of the X wing . I think that could be easily accomplished with some spare parts , and if I luck into an old Broken white desktop , I could salvage the case and it would be allllmost the perfect colour . Just what would I be able to do mod , without proper tools I might I add lol. I eventually want to put a mini desktop into a lego Death Star lol what about a X wing helmet ? It’s bulky and leaves a lot of room for my errors lol how could or would I go about doing that ?

With it plugged into the other header it works fine , but it dosnt reach there for this fan to be an intake . So I’m kinda confused as to what I do . Im going to sel this build , so I would like an intake and exhaust. That was the whole reason of putting it into a bigger case was to add atleast one more fan

I tried but I couldn’t figure out this bios . It’s not one I was used too , it’s layed out with everything in the left and the info is in a big square on the right of the screen . I went to power management, and enabled the fan override and rebooted and nothing , so I went and re disabled it . And that was the only option I found that even mention fan .

Only one of the fans isn’t spinning . I just plopped a dell optiplex 3010 into a prettier looking case , and gave it an extra fan and the extra fan isn’t spinning . When I hit the power button to start the computer it spins for like 2.5 seconds then stops and dosnt start back up even under load . It’s plugged into the correct header . Sys fan . There’s two sys fans though and a cpu , the one sys is taken by the fan that was in the optiplex before and it’s a 80 mill exhaust fan , there’s not really a way for me to wire up the intake to the other sys fan port because it’s located almost right next to the io and all that stuff and the intakes cord dosnt reach over there .

Yes the ark download from epic is what I ment . I was just confused as to why with something “downloading” ( even though it actually wasn’t , not an issue ) I was getting into apex games in 30 seconds compared to five mins as like before ? That just didn’t make sense . With something “fake downloading” my games should be taking longer ? right ? And speed test is coming soon I’m just on my way home from work

Ouh and get this . Because ark is few I decided to download it and play apex while it downloaded . Got like 3 hours play time and i was getting into games in literal seconds . The moment I hit triangle I was in a game . But then I close outta the game to check the download before shutting down for the night cause it should be atleast close to done . And nope 9% it says it was having trouble connecting and would continue to retry. Waiting 15 mins and it never reconnected , so I restarted just to make shure it would still download and after restart it started downloading again. That throws me for a total loop . No clue what the fuck happened there maybe you guys can explain it to me

I’ve got both ssd and harddrive , Ssd has operating system only . So yes I know that could affect it , but this drastically from game to game , that are on the same harddrive ? That dosnt make sense . It’s something with my network or adapter. It’s just a realtek adapter , I don’t have the pc on I just turn it off for the night and am heading to bed I can post screenshots f my network adapters and my speeds . I’m paying for 100 MB’s a second , and I’m only getting 6.8mb peaks downloading on steam . So I know somethings wrong there but I thought that would be a whole new issue that I could tackle after this . I’m using cat 6 cords , my router is a stock router that came with my internet I haven’t upgraded yet but have a spare in my bedroom running back up wifi I could see which has better speeds and go from there . While playing games I don’t use wifi just corded connection and I’m using cat 6a .
