  1. You didn't give us enough info, but from the sounds of it, it can very well be a monitor problem. Can you try a different monitor and report back?
  2. I've been rocking an i7 2600 only a few weeks back. Upgraded to i7 6700k and cant be more happy Most of components are used so it was really cheap, and the PC is still a beats. You are good with this CPU for at least a few more years
  3. They say that the MB came with Ryzen 3000 ready BIOS so I say go for it. For the RAM, I understand, so in this case, I'd say this is your best bet------> RAM Cheers
  4. Everything is max'd out as far as i know. I dont think its the power issue, I think its a BIOS one. I'm fairly new with this "new" systems, as i was still on 2600 few weeks ago.
  5. I agree, but still, if you can get a 3600 for good price, go for it. Its known the Ryzen CPU's really like dem RAM speed
  6. First of all, do you actually NEED a X570 motherboard? Will you take advantage of it? If the anwser is no, I'd go with a X470 board. The RAM is fine, you can overclock it no problem, but i would look for a 3600Mhz kit. Else, this will be a beast of the build, happy building
  7. I also think Ryzen is a MUST in this case. Dont know where you from but you can get a Ryzen 5 2400g for around 100€ Motherboard, I'd go with B3xx or B4xx that you can get from 50-100€ (also, would be great if you find a used one) RAM, 2x8GB DDR4 ~ 3600Mhz - you can get this new for less then 100€ The RX580 will go great with this CPU and you are good with the upgrades for at least a few years (3,4maybe?) Sell the other parts you dont need (you can sell the cpu, mb and ram in a bundle) and good luck building your next build! Cheers
  8. Hey guys. I've build a new PC 6 weeks back, with a mix of used and new HW. The build is really beafy and it only cost me 700€ The MB, RAM, CPU and GPU were used everything else is new. When I fist started using the computer, I enabled the XMP profile in the BIOS (for the RAM,) made custom fan curves and that's about it. No overcloking at first beacause the PC was (stilll is) so snapy and fast that I didn't feel the need to do so. ( Im coming from i7 2600K) Now, since I now go to work only arond 2 times a week due to recent worldwide events, I've had much more time for gaming and PC stuff, so I wanted to sqeeze a few more FPS from this badboy. And here it gets confusing. I did my research and found the best solution. The system is stable at around 3.1v at 4.6Ghz ~ 70°C but at these settings, my RAM speed drops to 2933Mhz. If I set the RAM speeds to 3200Mhz, CPU clock drops to around 4.3Ghz. Any ideas what can I do? Is it supposed to be like this? Cheers and thanks in advance!
