I recently got a rtx 2060 6GB I ran DDU, installed Nvidia Experience and auto OC. When I went on FiveM the gpu keeps stuttering every 30 seconds I was barley hitting 50Fps on very high settings while my friend has a RX580 8GB gpu and gets over 60fps. What can I do to stop the stuttering?

RYZEN 7 1700X
OLOY 32GB 2666MHZ RAM
MSI RTX 2060 6GB

Boot into safe mode with networking, run DDU on *BOTH* AMD and Nvidia drivers, reinstall Nvidia drivers, reboot. May be some sort of strange conflict between drivers.
EDIT: JUST beaten to the punch but still, would recommend.
did that already but nothing

I just upgraded my gpu from a Msi RX580 4gb to evga Gtx 1070 icx 8gb. No matter what I do the 1070 is being worse than the rx580. I oc my gpu using evga precision and afterburner but keeps crashing. When I was messing around with the oc settings I run msi kombustor and it never crashed once. I know it has nothing to do with it but I oc my cpu from a 3.2 to 3.9ghz. Few hours later I get blue screen when I launch the game even when everything is on stock settings specs:

Framerate differences between the card. So like, you were getting 60 on RX 580 and 45 on 1070 and etc.
Have you tried repasting/repadding the card, cleaning the heatsink, what are your temps while gaming etc.
On the 580 on rust between 50 and 75 and Fortnite 60 1070 on rust between 20 and 45 Fortnite 200+
The 580 was oc through amd software and 1070 through afterburner

There's an about 20% performance difference between the 580 and 1070. How big of framerate differences are you getting?
On rust I get 45 and under and on Fortnite I get over 200 but still crash

Did you run DDU? There might be a driver issue since both Intel and AMD drivers are in the system. Make sure to run it in safe mode so it fully works.
No but I did do it just now install the drivers and oc the gpu but still crashing

I recently changed my cpu from i5-2500 to i5-3470 and my gpu from rx480 to rx580 but the games I want to play (fortntie, apex, cold war, fivem, modern warfare) will perform under 25FPS. The only game I have that performs higher than 50FPS is Rust and Rocket League. Ive factory reseted my pc, updated drivers but still nothing. The games even struggle to run at low settings. What should I do?
old specs:
Dell OptiPlex 7010
i5-2500
16GB Ram
RX480
120GB SSD
3TB HDD
500W APEVIA PSU
new specs:

RX580

Ive reseated the cpu already and it only went in one way, and 4 pin wire that I connect to the cpu only goes to the one further from the cpu it doesn't fit in the one closest to it
-
Yes its in right and locked in. I don't see how you can insert a ram upside down
-
@Slayerking92 Do I need 2 press a certain button when i first turn it on?
-
@Slayerking92 I only plugged in the 4 pin not 8
-
@PyroTheWise okay I put 1 ram in 1 slot then turn and i kept doing this I even did it with the other stick but still making the beeping noise. The picture that i circled could that be the reason why its beeping
-
@PyroTheWiseI've looked at the support list and I saw my ram on the list and my BIOS version is F40

Hi, I'm trying to build my first gaming pc but everytime I turn it on it makes continuous beeping noises. I found out that my ram wasn't compatible so I bought a new one, but it's still doing the same thing I really need help.
