  1. Hello! I succeeded! I had to use a secondary system to run Rufus, and I had to revert to Rufus 2.18 as the secondary system ran XP, and the primary was operating with Ubuntu. So, thank you for all your help, and I’ve now got a pretty ok laptop to use for relatively small things.
  2. I couldn’t use FAT32 as the ISO file size was too large for the transfer (5.4GB) because FAT32 has a 4GB file transfer limit. I’m now attempting to use WINE to run Rufus so I can create the drive and copy all the data I need for the boot, and hopefully after that it’ll be all good. The image I left in the comments was OC, completely unmodified, and the ISO file I downloaded from Microsoft was 64 bit.
  3. More Info: Ubuntu 15.04 If it means anything, or might help, this is an image of when I attempt to boot from the USB from BIOS
  4. Hello! I’ve had a look around this part of the forum to see if anything would help answer my question but I couldn’t find much that helped me. Ummm, basically, I have an old Dell Vostro 1000 running Ubuntu, I downloaded the Win10 ISO file (x64 surprisingly) and continued to copy it over onto an 8GB flash drive. I had some issues here and there with the formatting but I changed it to NFTS and it transferred perfectly. Thing is, I just have it copied onto the USB, so it doesn’t want to boot from it. How would I go about making the USB into a boot drive? Thanks sjFry
