Hi, I recently decided to bclk overclock my I7 8700 non-k at 102.98. Benchmarks saw a small increase while temperature and stability seems fine. But now it takes a long time to boot and reboot as the PC turns on and off twice every time, just like when I first applied the overclock. Shouldn't it save the change once it's applied? I've only changed bclk and enabled XMP in BIOS and left everything else untouched. Tried loading default settings and leaving XMP disabled but it's the same.
Full specs:
Intel I7 8700 non-K (cooled by hyper 212x, 66C max in benchmark)
Gigabyte Z370M D3H (firmware is F11)
KlEVV BOLT 8GBx2 3000mhz (XMP runs at 3060mhz 15-16-16-36, 3150mhz 16-17-17-37 after bclk overclock according to CPU-Z)
Palit RTX 2060
Cooler Master V550 Gold
It's an annoyance but more importantly I want to know if this is normal behaviour for bclk overclocking, just to make sure everything is working as intended. Thanks.
