  1. Basically. It's happening to my older system that I don't use very often. No issues regarding crashes or anything like that.
  2. Asus p8z77-i deluxe I have tried HDMI and DisplayPort cables to different monitors and TVs . Everything on the computer turns on and lights up the fan spin on the graphics card as well
  3. I have a 3770k on an ITX motherboard. I have tried 2 different gpus and the onboard DisplayPort. I have not been able to get a signal out from the computer to any display. What might be causing the issue and how can I fix it? I have also tried different cables both HDMI and DisplayPort
  4. I'm looking for a 65 inch tv, if I had to pick a budget I would say $1700 USD. I don't plan on gaming on it so refresh rate isn't as important as picture, I just tend to watch netflix and hbo max and other local content form a pc. What should I look for in terms of display technology? OLEDs are nice and all but they are prone to burn in; my dad found out the hard way. what brand or tv would you recommend for an avid TV show marathoner?
  5. My plan is to replace a Windows 10 install on an old 3770k build. So just word processing, web browsing, coding, and other non intensive tasks. Also video watching.
  6. I want to get into programming (python and java). I was told Ubuntu is a great starting platform. Is that correct? Also should I install it on a SSD or flash drive?
  7. check this content out. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=optimum+tech+ghoste+s1 hope this helps . Optimum tech focuses on small form factor PCs. just dont watercool the gpu so that you have to undervolt to keep it cool.
  8. one of my biggest regrets on my 9900k build is that i didnt pony up for better ram. Can you please point me in the direction of a proper cas latency overclocking guide?
  9. There is no need for that. For my use case a 1660 ti will be more than enough. the 1660 would be ok but i want the extra raw bandwidth.
  10. thats why im looking at the EVGA card. It offers an extra 10 watts of headroom over the others But I'm worried about the lack of extra display ports, i would likely put it in my itx productivity pc later down the line.
  11. I would rather go with the 1660ti for the better memory bandwidth. I'm still going to overclock it too. do you have 2 or 3 fans on your gigabyte card?
  12. that won't work alongside my rtx 2080 in my main rig. Sorry i should have been more clear.
  13. Im not familiar with the features in the segment of graphics cards. is there a 1660 ti that is better than the others (features, ports, reliability)? I decided on getting a 1660 ti for nvenc encoding for my main rig alongside my rtx 2080, my only requirement is that it is a 2 slot card for fitment purposes; also later down the line i might put it in my itx pc. Right now im looking at getting the EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti SC Ultra Gaming 2 slot because well: EVGA. the only downside is that it only has 1 display port and hdmi port. If i were to put it in my itx productivity pc later down the line, the displays i could hook up to it would be limited. Is there a better 2 slot 1660ti that you would recommend?
