Hey guys, what's up. I'm having the exact opposite problem of what most people have: instead of only booting with one stick of RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX), my computer will only boot with two; with one stick, a little LED on my motherboard (MSI X470) that signals that there is something wrong with DRAM lights up and there is no display. MSI tech support suggested I take out the processor and search for bent pins or order new RAM, but otherwise have no idea what my problem might be. Have you guys ever encountered this problem?
In case you have some suggestions, I'll tell you what I've done that hasn't yet worked: I have
-Updated the BIOS,
-Made sure the RAM sticks were in all the way
-Switched the two sticks to make sure it wasn't one bad stick (I only have the two sticks)
-Switched which slot I inserted the sticks
-Cried a lot
