  1. I don't have another PC to check the RAM, unfortunately, and I can't find anything in the BIOS that would suggest it would only work in dual channel. I cleared the CMOS and tried booting again with one stick but same problem. Specs: Ryzen 5 2600X MSI X470 Gaming Pro 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX (2x8GB) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 550W Power supply am i missing anything important here? i thought only the mobo and ram would be relevant lol
  2. Hey guys, what's up. I'm having the exact opposite problem of what most people have: instead of only booting with one stick of RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX), my computer will only boot with two; with one stick, a little LED on my motherboard (MSI X470) that signals that there is something wrong with DRAM lights up and there is no display. MSI tech support suggested I take out the processor and search for bent pins or order new RAM, but otherwise have no idea what my problem might be. Have you guys ever encountered this problem? In case you have some suggestions, I'll tell you what I've done that hasn't yet worked: I have -Updated the BIOS, -Made sure the RAM sticks were in all the way -Switched the two sticks to make sure it wasn't one bad stick (I only have the two sticks) -Switched which slot I inserted the sticks -Cried a lot
