  1. It's so weird to me that this isn't a market companies like Samsung have crushed yet. Put the main camera of the S22 Ultra in a plastic shell, add a bit of AI processing for capturing video at night. Something like that would just completely annihilate any other dashcam on the market and it could be sold at a reasonable price, too.
  2. Yesterday I downloaded the XBOX app for PC again and wanted to download the Halo Master Chief Collection through PC Game Pass. The download keeps failing though. I can download every other game just fine. It just downloaded Halo Infinite for example. But every time I attempt to download the MCC I get both error 0x803fb107 and 0x87e00017. Does anyone know what's going on here? It's definitely not the drive I'm trying to install it to. That's a reformatted 1TB SSD. I also followed several guides about resetting both the Microsoft store and the XBOX app to default settings. Didn't help either. Edit: I should add that the download worked once up until about 60 gigs and then it failed and wouldn't restart.
  3. Back in school, I must have 16 or 17, my French and Latin teacher sat in front of a PC in the PC lab. She had absolutely no idea about computers. I sat closest to her so she asked me how to use the internet. I told her that she has to open the internet browser, in this case an ancient version of IE. I explained that she had to open it by clicking on the icon for it with the mouse. She clicked on the desktop shortcut. Once. And folded her hands in her lap and proceeded to wait. I told her that she has to click twice on those icons. "Oh, alright." And she clicked on it again. Just a single click. And waited again. "I clicked a second time and nothing is happening." I suppose it was my fault for not explaining how double clicks work but it was just really funny to see her sit there, stare at the screen and wait for something to happen
  4. If it's running slow maybe the CPU is throttling? What do the temps look like? And has this exact configuration been running well in the past? Did you make any changes?
  5. Ok yeah, it was the hardware acceleration. Didn't have that problem since I turned it off. Thanks!
  6. Did you plug it into the right header on the mainboard? Maybe the board doesn't recognize a CPU fan or any cooling for the CPU in general and throttles it to protect it.
  7. The keepers told me he is a bit of a coward and jokingly said I would probably be fine if I were to fall into his enclosure XD He and his partner also had babies twice since I took this photo Edit Fun fact: They use it as an example to show the quality of 4k and 8k vs 1080p... But the resolution of the file is actually lower than 4k I took it with a D7000, which has a 16mp sensor, but the image is pretty heavily cropped to just over 7mp. 4k is about 8mp and 8k roughly 33mp.
  8. Ok, this isn't about Apple or the new Macbooks at all, but I noticed something while watching the video. The image of the tiger they use on hdmi.org to show the difference between the different resolutions? Shown at about 6:11? His name is El-Roi, he lives at the zoo in Duisburg, Germany, where I am volunteer staff photographer and that photo is one of mine That was a nice surprise
  9. I forgot about hardware acceleration. I'm gonna try that when I get home.
  10. Ok, that's actually good news. If it's happening on your end as well that means it's probably a software issue and not hardware related What's your setup? Ryzen 5800X and 1660 Ti on Windows 11 on my end.
  11. Hi everyone. Got a weird issue with Youtube. Occasionally the background of a Chrome browser window running a Youtube video will turn dark. The video itself is unchanged, just the background turns dark and the contrast of thumbnails on the side gets cranked up. This only happens when I watch videos on Youtube. Everything else works fine. I did switch Youtube to dark mode but it's not just dark grey, it turns black. I can't reproduce it either. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  12. The thing is, I'll need a new board for a second system soon-ish anyway. A system in which I don't care about NVMe storage. So right now I'm thinking about just keeping this board, replace it with a different one later and use the current board for the media center PC I want to build. Maybe I'll build an RGB media center PC after all
  13. I'm a bit on the fence about that. Because RMA means that I can't use the system for a while and at the moment that isn't an option. I can still return the board though. Maybe I'll buy a new one, replace the MSI board and then return it... What a drag!
  14. A little bit more googling shows that there seem to be lots of other users who seem to have this exact issue with MSI boards. The first M.2 slot suddenly won't recognize SSDs anymore.
  15. Who needs sleep, just reseated the CPU. Same issue. Won't recognize the SSD in the M.2_1 slot. Guess something really did get damaged? At least the system is working.
