  1. exactly my plan. The GPU box will stay.
  2. So my room has just started to become piled up with empty component boxes after a few upgrades. I'm considering throwing away my boxes with the exception of my GPU and CPU box. What do you think?
  3. Two weeks ago, I switched from the Intel i7-9700K to the AMD Ryzen R7 3700X. The Intel motherboard, an Z390 ACE, is boxed, ready to be sold. I lost that little black lid that is used to protect the CPU slot from damage to the pins. Because of this, I had to keep the chip in the slot. Is there an substitute for the Intel CPU slot cover? While some buyers may buy both the chip and the mobo, others may want to buy one of them.
  4. I sometimes game with my air-con off during the day, and the AC on during the night, and I'm not in tropical climate. And yes, the temperature around me affects my PC too.
  5. So you mean the longer I game, the hotter the card gets gradually?
  6. I got it last month, and when I started gaming, the temps maxed around 68-69C, and then 70C around mid-May, and today it's 72C when I played a bit of GTA5 this morning in my country. Is there anything to worry about?
  7. It’s not just the audio and WiFi. My iTunes, Dragon Center, and Nahimic audio was corrupted after I switched the platform. The best hope is to refresh my windows.
  8. I have replaced my motherboard once before sometime ago, and I didn't have to reinstall Windows. I've been using Intel for a long timeright until today.
  9. Hi everyone! I have just replaced my intel motherboard Z390 ACE with the AMD motherboard X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi with R7 3700X. However, my sound is not working, and when I installed the antenna that came packaged with the motherboard, there is also no wifi! I tried reinstaling Realtek Audio Driver with no avail, and now my PC is now without sound or wifi. Any help on fixing this issue? Help deeply appreciated!
  10. I'm considering switching from Intel to the latest AMD 4000, and get the latest RTX3000 series. If I were to keep the chip at good temps, I may have to invest in an 280mm or 360mm AIO, if need be. That's a thought if the stock Ryzen cooler is not strong enough. That's when I may have some clearance issues for my current case. Assuming money isn't a concern, should I upgrade my current machine (which is an Intel build), or build a new rig with the latest AMD and NVIDIA CPU and GPU? I mean, I know for a fact that: - Upgrading the current machine is cheaper, and - Building a new machine is more expensive, but at least I have a backup rig, should one of the machines fails. The second machine is meant for creating stuff. Opinions appreciated!
  11. I don’t know. He just said the audio is broken.
  12. Last Thursday, I sold an MSI Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC to a buyer on Facebook, and before that, as usual, I had to check for any defects before making the deal: no bent pins, no cracked areas etc, which has no issues whatsoever. It all seemed fine until the buyer contacted me again in the wee hours of the morning telling me the motherboard’s audio is broken. Any way to fix it, or will MSI accept an RMA request, or I have to give him the refund?
  13. So this means the 508W also covers gaming usage?
  14. Is it some virus or something? Do you have any anti-virus on your PC?
