  1. Found the problem. The cables were indeed cat5 that didn't support speeds over 100. But its wierd because the cables works att over 100/100mbits if the router isnt in between the wan port and and my computer. Oh well, always tripple check I guess.
  2. Yes, I've realised that my cat5 cables might be the problem and i'll try my new cat6 asap. The "incoming port" is the port in the wall.. The AC2660 is more than capable to deliver higher speeds so it comes down to the cat6, or I dont know what the problem is.
  3. All parts in the chain supports the speed im looking for. The cables I use are cat5. However when I use the same cable directly to the incoming data port I get about 320/250. The only thing I can think about is if the cable that came with my router doesn't support higher than 100-speeds, which would be wierd...
  4. Yes.. The old card didn't support over 100, pretty old stuff. Can I change the port (router) to full duplex in the setting maybe? Because I changed the wan value to 1000mbit.
  5. Hi. I recently upgraded my internet speed from 100/100 mbit/s to 250/250. I also upgraded my networking card AND router. All items are capable of 1Gbit/s. The new router, AC2660 deosn't deliver more than 95-98/95-9mbit/s. However when I run the ethernet cable directly to my incoming data port, the speed test shows up to ~320/250mbit/s. I've tried to mix with the settings in the router but it doesn't work, I've also tried without mixing with the setting, doesn't work. The new networking card is set to be able to full duplex 1000mbit. The cables are also new and since the speed is the correct amount when run through the main dataport in the wall its't not a faulty cable.... Any ideas? Thanks
