Got some offset bushings to drop my BB height a bit, and slacken the head angle off to 63.28 degrees.
Bike is feeling very good now. Longer fork, Shimano drivetrain again (SRAM was bloody annoying), Hope bits and bobs everywhere, Now some offset bushings.
Also ordered a "thing" from Porsche, but I'll make a post about that another time.

Well, I've kinda needed to get one of these for a while.
Somehow, I own the one fucking surround sound setup on the planet that only has a coaxial input in terms of digital audio.

Letgomyleghoe. reacted to Donut417 in Prices For Various PC Components Have Just Gotten More Expensive/Are Expected to Get More Expensive in the US Due to Tariffs
Not sure where you have been, these tariffs are Trump and Xi Jinping having a pissing contest. I has nothing to do with "Ethics", it has all to do with China not bending to the US's will. If companies cant produce in China they will move on to the next country with cheap labor. Because people honestly believed if they tariffed goods from China it would bring jobs back to the US. That wont happen, when companies can just switch to the next county with cheap labor. There are so many to choose from. If push comes to shove they can product stuff in Mexico and at least have cheaper labor and the free trade agreement. Production will NEVER return to the US unless the government really starts cracking down on companies and thats not likely to ever happen.

Den-Fi's GK64 Update!
With Halo Clears! 😁
Halo Clear + Hako Royal Clear Switches - Visual Comparison
Top: Halo Clear Switch. Bottom-Left: Hako Royal Clear. Bottom-Right: Modded Hako Royal Clear.
Halo Clears are from From Den's Drop SHIFT! 👀❕
In terms of visual differences, Halo Clear's top housing material has a matte-like finish, as opposed to the clear transparency of the Hako Royal Clear's.
And, yeah, MX-stem shape versus BOX-stem.

Halo Clear Typing Notes
Tactility: Compared to stock Hako Royal Clears, the Halo Clears have a significantly smoother bump. Think, a rounded corner versus a sharp 90° angle -- the bump definitely exists, but it gently eases the fingers downwards as the switch is pressed. There's some tactile feedback on the upstroke as well, and I'm undecided whether it adds to or takes away from my typing experience. 🤔 Stem Wobble: Word of warning, there's a fair bit of room between the stem and switch housing, which makes for wobbly stems and wobbly keycaps. Not an issue for regular typing, but when my fingers aren't active, they sorta... idly caress the keycaps. And when the keycaps move laterally against my touch, and it's... an unnerving feeling...?
Acoustics: Thocky sounds are solid and muted, but pretty loud when I type regularly (IMO). Do take into account my bias towards super heavy (and subsequently quiet) linears, though.
More of my oddball switch preferences showing, as I kinda prefer the Halo Clears' soft bump and muted thocks compared to the stock Hako Royal Clears' sharp edge? But the stem wobble is a bit of an issue, and not something I can remedy easily, I think (switch films help for loose switch housings, but not for loose stems). Still, the Halo Clears are fine starter switches and a good fit for the Drop ALT/CTRL/SHIFT/ENTR -- a light aperitif to wet one's appetite for the keeb buffet. 😋

Letgomyleghoe. reacted to The Flying Sloth in looking for a $175 xlr mic and audio interface
Appreciate the plug
OP, when it comes to getting an interface and mic on a budget my usual go-to is the UMC202HD and Behringer C2, value for money is unparalleled and you get the option of recording in stereo should you ever want to do some music stuff in future. I personally use the bigger brother of that interface (UMC1820) on my PC with the C2 even though I own microphones worth well above what the C2s are. If you're looking for options or some further information, as suggested the guide on my profile has a lot of useful information on it as well as audio recordings of the exact setup I recommended (albeit in an intentionally noisy environment) and I'm always looking to add to the guide.

For all things on xlr I suggest you check this out. I would also suggest you to read the whole thing and not just one part as xlr mics are not made equal and some will require you to get something else and in general its a very informative and interesting. Before you buy though i would send him a pm, scroll to the top and right of the follow member button is what you're looking for, to have him check it over.

Letgomyleghoe. got a reaction from Joshndroid in What parts have you already got or prepared while waiting for CPU/GPU stock? List your parts
I would disagree. There are many reasons why you buy parts when you get them.
1. Not waiting for shipping once the last item comes
2. Sales/promotions
3. Also while this is a bit of a special case the new tariffs on china goods are going to make what I bought quite a bit more expensive, at least in the usa.
Never is a bit of a over exaggeration. You will eventually get your needed component. Like sure you probably won't get it right away but whats wrong with just having other components while waiting to get your cpu/gpu.

I am genuinely curious on how many others have a PC worth of bits already or in the pipeline for a build where the last components are going to basically be the GPU or CPU of your choice.
I have a whole PC basically sitting in their boxes waiting for stock of either 3080 or 5900x
What components have you got just sitting there?
I guess this is a bit of a build without an actual build and a list without a critique as you already have the vast majority of it lol.
For me it would be;
Case - Thermaltake T25 TG (Mainly to match the 2 others I have)
Fans - About 8 or so 120mm UpHere RGB ring fans (Again to match the other PC's)
Storage - Samsung 980pro 250GB, Crucial P1 1TB
Motherboard - ASUS Prime x570
CPU Cooler - Corsair ML360R
PSU - Silverstone 750w 80plus Gold
RAM - 2 x 16GB T-Force Delta RGB 3600MHz dual ranked dies
Extras - 10 way Fan Hub

Wait, companies want to make money?!
I think we all figured out Nvidia and AMD don't give a crap about gamers, they only care about selling videocards.
This has been made clear during the mining boom around 2017-2018 and even before that during the first Bitcoin mining boom around 2015.
