So this would save you a lot of money on the motherboard and has a better wifi card installed already.  It does lose PCIE 4.0 though, which isn't that big of a deal.

This is what I came up with in about 5 minutes of playing on PCPP.  It's about $50 under budget and I would potentially use that to get slightly faster RAM, a bigger SSD maybe or possibly step up to a 2060/5700 GPU.  But overall this would be a really solid machine that would play 1080p video games very well at very high settings.

Later on down the line you could add a fancy CPU cooler or more storage for games as well.

H510 Elite, H510i, same thing basically.  The H510 only makes sense as a $70 case, the H510i and H510 Elite, are both way overpriced.

Mazdaspeeding got a reaction from HaRdLy007 in SSDs on sale - Are any of them worth getting over the Samsung?
You won't "feel" the difference between most SSDs and SSDs as a whole are pretty reliable technology at this point.  But I'm a big fan of Samsung SSDs for their great warranty, good software and I like knowing that the drive is top to bottom "Samsung".   Samsung made the whole package and made sure all the parts work together flawlessly and without bottlenecks.

And then there is everything else IMO.  Not the latest "Marvell/phison/whatever controller with blah blahs cache chips (if it even has a cache) and who was that again that made the memory?".   It could have a fire breathing V8 controller and Corolla nand chips.  And alot of these "parts bin special" drives are tuned to look good on benchmarks but choke in real world scenarios.   Sure, some of these drives end up being pretty dang good but I just want the "all around quality" drive in the end.

My rigs will generally always use Samsung boot drives.  They cost a bit extra but hey, quality engineering costs extra.

I'll also say, personally I really don't like the NZXT H510, it's got bad thermals compared to some of the mesh front cases like BeQuiet! Pure Base 500Dx that also comes with 3x quality 140mm fans installed.  But other than that I think the build looks very solid.

I'd personally look at like the Meshify C, Cooler Master TD500 or H500 mesh as well.

For some reason I was thinking you had a 960.  But it doesn't matter very much in the grand scheme because the FX 8300 has such poor single thread and memory latency that it kneecaps any GPU you put with it.

Let's say you got a used 1070, it may get you 20-30 more average fps but it's still going to seem choppy from the CPU leading to an overall poor experience.

Don't buy a 250Gb SSD and a 1TB mechanical drive, just buy a single 1TB SSD.  That made sense when SSDs were $100+ for 32GB but flash storage is way too cheap to consider buying spinning rust at this point.   Applications do not belong on HDDs in 2020 and mechanical drives only make sense for audio/video storage.

So I do intend to build a PC and I used a website to help me on this. Of course my current PC is just as good but doesn't really fit... My mood if I must say. I may cut corners and forfeit the warranty and salvage the GPU and possibly the CPU to save a thousand bucks but black is not my color. I am going for an arctic white setup. I am moving out of my parents here next year to my own place... Congrats to me. Hey-ho... 2 Bedroom, 1 room for... well... sleeping. The other to be used as a work space where I will reside most of the time. Most of everything will be white. Desk even if I have to spray paint, seal, and gloss it. Chair, peripherals and what not. I am a lover of Corsair and most parts will be in fact Corsair and other components of the PC. This is not a buy all at once type of deal. Since my PC specs are actually amazing on my prebuilt, for parts I went with things around its same area. I will provide a screenshot of the parts list below. Keeping to white as much as possible as well as in mind that it needs to be neat and have... well... uh... RGB. I am an RGB Junkie.
Parts will include the following below...
Intel Core I7-9700K Ghz 8-Core Processor (If my current I9-9900K cant be salvaged) Corsair H100i RGB Platinum SE 63 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler... Will most likely mount front or top. Will explain later. ARCTIC MX4 20 g Thermal Paste. CPU cooler has pre applied but this is for extensive measures. MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK ATS LGA 1151 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory. May buy more to fill slots. Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8 GB Video Card (If my current MSI RTX 2080 TI Ventus cant work with the setup) Corsair SPEC- Omega RGB ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair RM (2019) 750 W 80 + Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX power Supply EVGA NU 24 Bit 192 kHz Sound Card 6 Corsair Icue Ql120 RGB 41.8 CFM 120 mm Fans. (Am aware I will most likely need a splitter. Trying to use as much air flow as possible
This concludes the parts at a total of $2528.40 USD.

I will be keeping my current monitor and what not since it runs at 144 Hz. I do plan to upgrade it in the future as well.
As said I am trying to keep to the current theme of white as much as possible and black as little. Any other color is forbidden. Thats what rainbow RGB is for. Of course this is my first rodeo and something I want to try and do. I plan to buy quite a bit of Zip Ties for cable management and use as much of the back as I can for cables. There isnt much more to say other than that. I would appreciate input or anything that may help me so I know ahead of time.

I was in your position last year with a 4790k/1070 combo.  I ended up buying a powercolor 5700xt red devil and a new 1440p monitor and really enjoyed it with my 4790k.  I thought I would then go "all the way" and bought everything else required to make a new rig including a 3900x.  I don't notice much difference in gaming between the 3900x and 4790k.

I'd say get a 5700 or 5700XT since both the new consoles are based on them.  I'd think you could easily get another 2-3 years out of a 4790k/5700xt combo at 1080p/1440p.

Specific model recommendations are the Red Devil, Red Dragon and the Nitro and the Pulse from Sapphire.

It made your headphones sound better because you're finally driving them properly, you were previously running 250ohm beyers on onboard audio.... His headphones are 32 ohm and likely not as hard to drive as yours, thus he wouldn't see such drastic improvement.

Given your previous topic, don't bother, you already have a DAC, you can't physically use a sound card as part of your signal chain.

    A 3200G is meant for computer with a $300-400 budget.  Not $700.

This is also why I usually only comment on people that already have a build list they've picked out themselves and thought about at least a little bit, instead of coming in empty handed (and headed) and expecting to be spoon-fed a list.
