  1. H510 Elite, H510i, same thing basically. The H510 only makes sense as a $70 case, the H510i and H510 Elite, are both way overpriced.

It does lose PCIE 4.0 though, which isn't that big of a deal.
  3. When are you planning on buying this new monitor?
  4. Hell, buying a chinese x79 setup with a Xeon or something would probably get the job done for really cheap.
  5. I can never tell what your point is. You talk one thing down and then seemingly talk it up again. And half the time it's only tangentially related to the topic at hand.
  6. Zalmans not the best company but it's nice seeing different cases used. I think that case is striking. I really like the lighting effect on the front. Also the internals are top notch as well.
  7. Quality costs money. Not everything is a race to the bottom. Not one component in my system was picked because it was the cheapest. Why should a GPU support be any different? EDIT: I've also bought "just metal bars" for my car that were much more expensive. Engineering costs money. I'd hate to be the guy above with a paint stick in their rig. Sheesh.
  8. I really like that GPU support. It look super clean. I'm considering ordering one now.
  9. https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/LFRzK8/acer-xv272u-pbmiiprzx-270-2560x1440-144-hz-monitor-xv272u-pbmiiprzx This is what I have. I just looked and it's available in Germany. It is a bit more expensive but has a nicer stand with more range of adjustment and a brighter panel. Either are good.
  10. https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/viewsonic/vx2758-2kp-mhd That monitor got great reviews. Not the best stand apparently and no "gamer" features like on screen crosshairs but a very solid performing panel with good colors and speed. Put that bad boy on a cheap VESA mount and have at it.
  11. You won't "feel" the difference between most SSDs and SSDs as a whole are pretty reliable technology at this point. But I'm a big fan of Samsung SSDs for their great warranty, good software and I like knowing that the drive is top to bottom "Samsung". Samsung made the whole package and made sure all the parts work together flawlessly and without bottlenecks. And then there is everything else IMO. Not the latest "Marvell/phison/whatever controller with blah blahs cache chips (if it even has a cache) and who was that again that made the memory?". It could have a fire breathing V8 controller and Corolla nand chips. And alot of these "parts bin special" drives are tuned to look good on benchmarks but choke in real world scenarios. Sure, some of these drives end up being pretty dang good but I just want the "all around quality" drive in the end. My rigs will generally always use Samsung boot drives. They cost a bit extra but hey, quality engineering costs extra.
  12. I have 2x 1440p monitors right now. I managed to snap up an Acer XB272U for $299 on Black Friday which was an absolute steal. I haven't seen them for less than $380 on sale and $499 even more recently. The XV272U is 144hz and IPS. It's a really fine gaming display if you can find it in stock. The 5700XT runs 60hz Ultra settings in every game I've played. The other monitor I have is an identical looking Acer VG270U that's also 1440p/IPS but it's only 75hz. I mounted them both on a gas spring arm.
  13. They'll see better FPS with a 6600k/5700XT than a 3300x/RX480, by like a lot. Get the 5700XT first then do a 3600 afterwards.
  14. I saw that and deleted my post. A 1600/5700 combo will game much, much better than a 9100/1660 combo.
  15. Ehh, the 3100/3300x actually game slightly better than the 9100F IIRC but you're 100% right about the 9100F actually being in stock. And ultimately the performance difference is not enough to really notice.
  16. The H510 elite is way overpriced. The H510(non-I) is hardly worth $70 let alone $150 for the elite version. Its very "basic bitch" too. I highly recommend the Meshify from Fractal Design, the Cooler Master H500 mesh or TD500, or my favorite the BeQuiet! pure base 500 Dx that comes with 3x 1400m fans.
  17. Not a bad list. The AMD 3100x/3300x is a reasonable competitor to the 9100F but good luck finding it in stock. Plus the 9100F is cheaper right now.
  18. That particular x570 board from MSI is pretty weak when it comes to power delivery. I'd get an Aorus Pro x570 or Asus x570 tuf
  19. I'm a big fan of my 5700XT, I'd easily recommend one. Also, big fan of the Bequiet case you have picked out.
  20. I think the build looks good but I personally don't like the H510i, especially at $150. It's not terrible as a $70 "dumb" case as the regular H510 (non-i) but at $150, it's blown away by competitors like the Lian Li O11, Meshify C, or BeQuiet Pure Base 500DX.
  21. I'll also say, personally I really don't like the NZXT H510, it's got bad thermals compared to some of the mesh front cases like BeQuiet! Pure Base 500Dx that also comes with 3x quality 140mm fans installed. But other than that I think the build looks very solid. I'd personally look at like the Meshify C, Cooler Master TD500 or H500 mesh as well.
  22. Much better motherboard choice with the Aorus Ultra. The MSI x570 boards are actual trash or merely overpriced depending on the model.
  23. For some reason I was thinking you had a 960. But it doesn't matter very much in the grand scheme because the FX 8300 has such poor single thread and memory latency that it kneecaps any GPU you put with it. Let's say you got a used 1070, it may get you 20-30 more average fps but it's still going to seem choppy from the CPU leading to an overall poor experience.
