Seems like a myth. VRAM and RAM have no relationship whatsoever.

I would not advise getting any cheap AIO. The AIO would be unusable after not a very long time.

Ryzen 4xxx will be a big boost at the end of the year and Nvidia 3xxx will probably be released in August/September and also be a big boost in performance.

So you might want to get a B550/x570 board with the ryzen 3600 to be able to easily swap it out for a ryzen 4600/4700 when they hit the market.

And maybe hang in there with your current gpu and lowered settings.

    Apart from that: looks good!

i would give it a 2/10 for the following reasons:
Fit and finish look bad. Cable management needs a lot of work. Where is the power switch and other front panel items located? That being said, If you like it who cares what other's think?

I'd just spend $40 more on a 3600. I haven't been able to find the 3300X in stock anywhere.

There will always be 1 bottleneck in any system. There is no way to avoid that. A 3600 would do fine. 3300X is another good budget option, but i'd not get a 4-core-CPU myself in 2020.

    No it won't
But if your on a tight budget get a 3300x which is identical in gaming performance
As for the board a tomahawk max or a mortar max or a b450 pro 4 should be pretty good

There are also H310 H370 Z370 and Z390 if these are even cheaper

It's "OK" if CPUs run according to TDP spec (and limited turbo boost duration). This however, means the CPU will not run at its all core turbo in heavier workloads because it hits the power limit. It's not OK if you plan on getting the most out of it by raising the power limit enough so that it maintains all core turbo at all times.

Mounting a motherboard flush to the wood isn't a good idea IMO since despite wood is an insulator it's also quite hygroscopic and not as inert as and metals, so depending on atmospheric conditions in your room there may be moisture buildup or some organic stuff going on which may manifest conductivity eventually.

You can do that, but you shouldn't. It will warp the motherboard and that's not healthy. Standoffs can help you make sure the motherboard is mounted flat because, you know, it's flat, and it should stay like that.

strength and price. it's easy to insulate the mobo from the case.
a plastic case would need to have much thicker walls too be stiff enough.
    carbon fiber is expensive.

Air. There is space from the standoffs. The standoffs actually help ground the board, as well.

Hey there. My guess is that metallic chassis are easily mass-produced, malleable, sturdy, and heat- and water-resistant. Below is what I remember and reason from high school D.T. classes, please take it with a grain of salt, I'm not a materials specialist. 😅
Cheap wood (plywood, particleboard, MDF) isn't all that suitable for small, mass-produced goods with uniquely-shaped grooves, cut-outs, notches, and other what-have-yous (small relative to, say, your desk). On top of that, cutting out those tiny nooks and crannies would leave a lot of wasted wood. Wood also easily warps and/or cracks with humidity, temperature changes(?), and is flammable. And plywood and particleboard tend to leave a lot of wood dust floating around, if their edges aren't sealed with varnish. Plastic, while easily mass-produced, electrically non-conductive, and usually water-resistant, tends to warp with temperature changes, and is more fragile compared to metal.

The motherboard stand-offs put enough of a gap between the board and case to prevent any of the electrical connection on the PC board from making contact with the metal case.  This makes short circuits impossible with a correctly installed motherboard.  The metal case doubles as a common electrical ground for the board and other components, making the build a little safer and more reliable.

At this level of performance, it's noticeably better. It gets much closer to the golden 60fps mark in the tests @SHADFAN linked, whereas the 1050 Ti is around 38-40fps in most of them. The difference between 40 and 60fps is usually very noticeable, though there are a few games that still feel smooth-ish when in the 30-40s.
