  1. I am sorry, when I read your post I thought that you were able to reset your BIOS (must be physical switch on motherboard) Your motherboard appears to have dual bios, try powering it off and on few times in a row (3 or 4) it should switch to your second bios. If that doesn't work and cmos flush doesn't work and you don't have another set of ram I'd RMA. edit: One more thing, just a blind guess, make sure RAM sticks are all the way in the socket, I own x570 myself and you get a click even when they are not fully in, actually takes some force, but don't be brutal.
  2. If you don't have another set of ram I would try getting bootable live cd linux distro on a usb stick for example lubuntu 19.04. Enable CSM in bios change boot to legacy and boot the live cd, from the live cd menu pick memtest and run it for good 30 minutes, one pass is usually not good enough 2 is the absolute minimum. (if you have rooted android phone DriveDroid can create such bootable image in 2 clicks) You can also try running lubuntu from the live CD (don't install just try it), if you can boot it you'll know it's most likely settings not hardware.
  3. Thank you pstarlord. I managed to make it work, I disabled 2 cores running 3+3 and everything works, does that confirm it's cpu not motherboard?
  4. Sys spec: 3700x aorus elite x570 8x2 ballistix red 3200 crucial m4 thermaltake 530 smart se So last night my PC randomly rebooted when I was afk, came back to Veracrypt password prompt. Password goes through every time it starts to load Windows, few dots start to spin, freeze, and self restart. This happens with any os I tried to boot, Windows freezes (it went through repair one time but froze during) tried Ubuntu livecd I get a lot of "bug: soft lockup" folllowed by info that cpu has been stuck for 23 seconds. The only thing that booted was memtest from ubuntu live cd, ran it for an hour, passed. Before all this system was stable for half a year. Bios works normally. Things I tried: swapped psu to other system, works fine. swapped ram sticks, tried one, tried every slot cleared cmos (pins and out of power + battery out) tried to boot with no usb slots filled took gpu out checked all the cables At this point I've narrowed it down to CPU and MOBO, not sure which it might be. Maybe you guys have some ideas? Thanks for any input.
