    Parts already bought i9-14900k, Z790 Apex Encore & asus strix 4090, which DDR5 Ram kit should i get, thoughts? I will eventually buy EK water block for CPU only. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

    yea -30 crashed today. going to try -25 for now . -20 was the sweet spot prior to me having the issue .. see how -25 goes

    well did about 45 mins of gaming, all good no crashes 1%lows are a lot better as well. game felt pretty good. let you know if anything else pops up. Best,

    yea i most likely will have to bring it back down to-20 that's what i had it last with no issues. running heaven benchmark one more time at -30 with resizable bar enabled. then going to try to game a little to test some more. thanks again bud, let ya know how it goes. appreciate your time and input.

    i just did that with pbo2 tuner. was able to get it to -30 and ran the 30 minute stability test.

    updated bios again, which the last update i did was about a month ago, version 4501. did update just now to 4601 stock no over clock i got 20k cinibench no drop core mhz. docp enabled same score in cinebench 20k roughly same core mhz . thanks for thoughts and replies feels good now ..

    this was the test with default bios settings , going to do docp only now

    i just put bios to default settings and it went from 9k score to 16k score on cinebench and only dropped to about 3300mhz right now.. i updated bios a few weeks ago. i will do what you said now.

    hello, all hope all is well. So, I just updated my chipset drivers on my amd 5900x, full specs are on my signature. I used to hit 4.9mhz while gaming and average around 4.6. now it averages around 4.0 and high around 4.5. Also, when I run Cine bench r23 all cores drop to around 1800mhz, i have xmp enabled, at idle in hwinfomonitor/cpu-z it shows 3.675 - 4.725. all cores fluctuating. Thoughts anyone thanks in advance.

    my build is in my signature, if I'm correct. I enable d.o.c.p/xmp in bios. I tried lower ram MHz still happens. thoughts what can be the issue? the build is about 3 yrs old i didnt use it for about 18 months. everything is up to date bios drivers etc. having this issue for the past couple of months.

    new build.. i haven't bought motherboard yet. just cpu and gpu i have for now.
