The application was previously at realtime so I set it to high. It didn't really seem to help and in the laggiest parts i was getting around 40-55 fps averaging in between. Here is a picture of task manager again.

My temps are usually around 60 degrees Celsius. I just got an update for windows today and I updated my graphics driver a few days ago. Here is a picture of my performance tab:

Hi, Recently, I got myself a new laptop and it can run all my games great with the exception of one game. The one game is Minecraft. When I first got this computer, It could do minecraft just fine. But now I'm experiencing lag spikes and overall lower fps. I'm at max settings with 6 gb of ram allocated. Please help! Okay, but it gets this hot even in non intensive games like minecraft.

So, I've noticed that my laptop is getting really hot. I went on predatorsense and it told me that it was running at 200+ degrees. Please help me Specs CPU: i7 7700HQ GPU: Geforce GTX 1060M Laptop: Acer Predator Helios 300 17 in.

Hi, I'm playing ARK: Survival Evolved on my pc and the game is lagging, running at around 30-40 fps. I checked Windows game bar and it showed that I was only using 30-40 percent of everything. My specs are: RAM: 16 GB CPU: i7 7700HQ GPU: GTX 1060 Mobile. Thanks Edit: I don't know if this helps but im running it through Microsoft Store

None of my cores were running at 100 percent

none of the cores are running at 100 percent. Even if they were it still wouldnt explain the fps drop. When this happens my fps drops down to 9. I dont know if this helps but my laptop can reach around 200 degrees farenheit sometimes

I was playing minecraft. It starts to happen when my laptop starts to get hot. I have a predator helios 300 with a gtx 1060, intel i7 7700hq and thats all i know.

the cpu was also relatively low so im pretty sure it's not bottlenecking
