  1. I would like to build a NAS to use mostly as a plex server, and also for some desktop backups and as a personal photos cloud. I would only need to be able to stream on one device at a time at 1080p. This would be my first time building a NAS server. Could someone please recommend a good build for this use case? Budget is $300-350. this does not include drives. I would also like to make this NAS as quiet as possible, so I would be willing to stretch the budget slightly for a quieter fan.
  2. Drives would be in addition to the budget, and I would prefer to do a new build. I am open to trying unraid for the first time for the OS, was curious what sort of advantages that would afford over using windows for an OS.

  4. Ok these look like pretty good builds so far, I'm still a little torn if I want to go with the Radeon RX 5700 for higher performance or RTX 2060 or maybe RTX 2070 for the raytracing.
  5. I am building my first pc and am looking for some advice on what components I should pick. Budget- prefer $800-950, could stretch to $1000 Location- US Use- Mostly Gaming (SOTR, COD MW, Forza Horizon 4, Anno 1800) and some light productivity Peripherals- 1 1440p 120 Hz monitor, prefer gaming at higher res, lower fps Research so Far- Ryzen 5 3600 and an EVGA RTX 2060 KO but i am concerned if this graphics card would run pretty loud and would appreciate anyone relating their experience with this card. Open to suggestions on all components, with my preference on getting a not very fancy case without a glass side panel.
