seancogan2 got a reaction from leclod in I am installing an m.2 SSD but only have one m.2 slot, Windows is downloaded on my existing ssd, how do I make the switch?
I was thinking of doing the second option, but was unsure if there was any better alternatives. Thanks for the reply.

If the hdds are empty, you can clone windows to an hdd and then clone it to the new drive after installation. This is if you want to keep everything as it is but on a new drive.

Alternatively,  you could also just move your local media and important files to one of the hdds and then just reinstall windows via USB.
