    Hi, I am currently waiting on Amazon for the new GPU I bought (Rx 5700). The cpu I have is a i5 8400. I read somewhere online that my CPU is not sufficient for 1440p. I wanted to have your opinions on this since the graphics card I bought is good for 1440p. Will it work smoothly? My understanding was that resolution has more to do with your GPU than CPU. Thanks,

    Hi guys, I'm currently waiting on amazon to deliver my new RX 5700 (non xt) graphics card that i got on sale and I was curious to know if my 1 year old i5 8400 will be enough to run a 1440p monitor. I have been reading discussions online that my cpu might not be sufficient. Isnt display resolution more GPU based? If so, the 5700 is supposed to be 1440p proof! Thanks!
