  1. fixed the problem, it was an out of date miner who was causing issues with the 3060
  2. its not for gaming, its for mining.

  4. got it running, turns out the stick was the problem. both of them. i couldnt install it on the pc that works either. so i just took another one and used the media tool on it and it worked. its weird tho because both seemed to work if i plug them into my own pc. but hey if it works i'm not complaining. thank you for all the help

  6. i tried ubuntu before windows but kept saying something about boot error if i recall correctly. if i takeout the m.2 can i put it in a different pc install windows on it with that pc and just put it back and see if that works?
  7. any way to test this without ripping it out and swapping? i havnt got a spare one laying around
  8. just put the old gpu and ram back. did another boot. got a windows logo for e flash and the 4 windows logos in stripes across the screen and back to the half blue and black and shutdown
  9. xmp is off and didn't do any oc. i used windows media creation tool. swapped the ram to 1 stick from my nas, that i know it works. still same problem. going to look for my old gpu that i have in storage. i'll let you know if that did anything.
  10. if i can boot to bios and both sticks of ram show, cpu shows, nvme shows and only have gpu no onboard grafics . doesn't that mean everything works?
  11. i swapped gpu to diff pci and now i got this screen in between the line one and the blue.(only got it once. its gone now)
  12. try swapping ram and see if i can find diff gpu thx for the suggestion
