  1. Stock clocks, same temperatures using HWiNFO, thermal paste is fine, mount pressure is fine. It honestly might be the lack of intake fans but with an open case and bad temperatures, I'm starting to think otherwise.
  2. I've built a few systems in my time, and I haven't really had something like this happen to this degree before. My friend's system is running an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with AMD's stock cooler. Ryzen Master is reporting idle temps between 65-85 degrees with things like opening up a game or application (i.e. League of Legends) spiking temps up to 95 degrees. This is way higher than it should be, and I'm starting to think that it's an airflow issue (as there's no intake and only a single exhaust fan, though there are gaps and holes in the case for 4 more fans if we ever wanted opt it. It's not a completely enclosed case). After using Noctua thermal paste in place of AMD's original thermal paste, temperatures actually shifted higher. Even with a cool, well ventilated room and the side panel completely open, temps still won't drop below 65 degrees. Game stability (at least in testing CS:GO) seems to vary, with FPS moving between 90-300 and is quite frequently skewed towards 100 FPS which is also abnormal. Any ideas on a fix?
