that's what I'm thinking too, I don't see why not. The package PCB doesn't seem too terribly messed up.
The reason the CPU is broken in the first place is because the motherboard is a socket 1150, and the 3770k is a 1155. I've since bent the pins back and tested it with an i3-4130, and everything seems well so far. I plan to upgrade that in the future and use it as my daily, unless I can get this 3770k working.
