  1. I removed it in order to cut all of those bracket in the back of the case for more clearance. Do it to make it more easier to plug in all my display cables tho
  2. So, I recently bought a used Cooler Master vertical graphics card holder kit. Everything seems pretty normal when I first installed it on my PC. But the problem comes after I reinstalled it for the second times. My PC won't boot up at all, even though it does in the first installed times. Keyboard and mouse have no signal, monitor DO detect some signal come from the GPU, but only display a black screen. I will assume that my pc don't even boot in to window. I tried the second Pcie slot on my mobo, change the pcie speed in the bios (I don't remember well about it, smt about 8x8 I don't know for sure) and it work but with reduced bandwidth. Can anyone know how can I fix the primary pcie slot, because the holder kit will not fit if I plug it in the second pcie slot completely, so consider it as a test only method. Related specs: mainboard: b450m steel legend cpu: ryzen 5 2600 gpu: gtx 970 gaming X
  3. Hi everyone, I recently bought a secondhand MSI 1050ti Gaming X. Everything was fine until I notice that ZeroFrozr function is not working properly. For more detail, Msi promote that this function will disable the GPU fans until the temp reach 60 degree. But mine don't behave like that at all. Fan usage was supposed to be 0% (and yes it does stay at 0% in idle) but the fan still spinning 130RPM (show in the picture) I have tried custom fan curve, MSI gaming app, downgrade the nvidia driver, anything to stop the fan but still unable to success. Is there any possibility that my unit fans has been replace, or something else is haunting my card?
  4. UPDATE Tks for those feedbacks u guys. After some tinkering with the air flow (without adding any new fans just because im pretty broke at the moment), i have decided to put one of the fan right next to the gpu. Stupid... but effective. The card is now under 75 and rarely throttling. So is this a sign that It is time to mod my gpu's fan to a high efficiency one like noctua? Or i just have to put more fans into my case?
  5. Sorry for my English beforehand, I'm still trying my best to master it. So recently bought an old GPU for my rig, a GALAX GTX 970 duo fan with an incredibly small form factor. The problem starts with the temperature of my card being 37°C, 5 min later it rises up to 50°C even in idle and stays there until full load it reaches 80°C and starts throttling. I tried everything I can diagnose, I replace my GPU thermal paste, change the fan direction, but nothing works, even making the situation worse. And then I the GPU to my friend setup (he has a full ATX case with very decent airflow( 2 intake front,2 exhaust top and 1 exhaust the back ) and wola ... my GPU full load at 70°C only. The thing is I cannot copy his setup, because my AIO is in the way, and ... the GPU always pushing hot air to the case (direction in the pic) that I have to make both fans in the front panel become exhaust to pull out the hot air. So here is my question, Should I copy my friend's airflow set up and forget about the hot in that place, or I make the opposite configuration? 3 intake at the top and the back, 2 exhaust in the front? Can you guys recommend any solution to mine setup?
  6. (sorry if my English are false) So I have a desktop with a Realtek driver on it. The reason I kept using it because I can fake the 7.1 output for CS:GO (i just plug in my headset on my front panel and it works). Recently I found out that I can install a third-party driver (in this case is DTS sound) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sr7_0qMXk8) and this driver is perfect for my music experience, but not gaming. So is there any way that I can create another audio output to install DTS driver on, while still keep the old Realtek driver so that I can change in anytime?
