Hi folks, first of all I'll describe my PC specs. Asus Strix H270I Gaming Intel i5 7500 16GB Corsair memory GTX 1060 6GB I built the machine a few years ago and have always had this fault. Whenever I switch the machine on from cold, it sort of half boots, the power light comes on and the system seems to hang, there is no HDD activity light. If I give it 15 seconds or so, and press the reset button, the machine boots perfectly. I have recently installed a new boot drive, which of course has had no effect on the issue. I also previously tried connecting a spare PSU up to the machine, and it exhibited the same behaviour. Are there any settings I can tweak in the BIOS perhaps or any other suggestions I could use to help with the issue. Thanks in advance!
