  1. Hi everybody, I've had a Dell Ultrasharp 2411 on loan for some time, but sadly I now have to give it back. On the used market I can get a Dell U2711 with corrosion problems for 80 EURO or a U2713 for 130EUR. Currently I'm planning on getting the U2711 and repairing the corrosion problems. Now I was wondering. Is a newer ~200 euro/dollar used/new monitor like the AOC Q27P1 a better buy, since this monitor is released ~5 years later then the other ones. I'm not sure how much the technology has catched up in the meantime. The monitor will be used for school, work, browsing and light video/photo editing. I tried to find an answer to my question on the internet and this forum, but couldn't find any other related answers. The new purchase will be used as primary monitor next to a 24" 1080p 144hz TN Philips Brilliance 242G5DJEB
