  1. Hey - Man that sucks! It's a bit hard to tell but I'd suggest you check your motherboard. A google search shows a ton of people with your motherboard having problems with their PC "fake-booting", aka everything lights up and spins to life but there's no output anywhere. I think this might be what you're experiencing. You should try with another motherboard, but I definitely feel you if you don't. I don't have a spare and I don't know anybody who does . What you could try to do is to go and have a chat with the vendor you bought your motherboard from and see if it's still covered under warranty. Hope you manage to find a way to solve it!
  2. Hey - Thanks for the info. I think the 4000X has decent enough airflow and I really like the design of it. Again, thanks all for the great feedback!
  3. Thanks - I did see a couple of videos complaining about the airflow on the Sekira 100R, so I think I'm going to go for the 110R. Altho since I'm buying it as a christmas gift to myself I've still got some time to look at other cases.
  4. Heyyo! So I've been saving up for a while now to afford a new gaming rig and I've settled for a relatively high end-PC, RTX 3070 Ti + Ryzen 7 5800x etc. I love MSI's newer case designs, particularly the MSI 100R Sekira and the MSI 110R, and I kinda like that the fans are more apparant on the 100R. But I couldn't find any information at all about the differences between those two cases, and MSI's website states the same information about both series of cases. Does anyone know if there are any differences between them? Budget isn't an issue (under £100) which both cases are under. Thanks, Jacob
  5. Hi! I've got a ASUS ROG GR8 II, and suddenly I got a BSOD yesterday. After restarting the computer, it appears that Windows's registry had been corrupted. That's fine to me, I can just reinstall another operating system on multiboot, and then get my important files. So I restarted a couple of times, doing a new operating system install on another startup partition, and then after I reboot to finish the installation, the desktop suddenly didn't output any video. I tried rebooting and stuff, and after googling around I found out that resetting the CMOS could get it to work again. I opened up my desktop, and I unplug the battery and wait a while. I plugged the battery in again, put the desktop together again, and powered it on. And boom, it worked like a charm. Almost. Every time I get a BSOD, after restart the desktop didn't give any video output. I tried resetting the CMOS, and it worked again. Until I got BSOD again. And it stopped sending video. This pattern goes on, but I'll probably manage to install another OS on the computer though. I'm only wondering if I should be concerned? The BSOD error I get is something along the lines of "BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO". I would be rather glad if someone could help. EDIT: Before the system would go black, before I installed the second OS, I ran a couple of commands in CMD along the lines of "sfc /scannow" and "DISM /Online /Cleanup_Image /RecoverHealth", and that's where I found out that it was the registry that was corrupted. Thanks, Jacob
