I just received a new monitor today, and I cannot get my PC to recognize the 144 Hz option. I am using the included HDMI cable to go from the monitor to the GPU HDMI port. I seem to see a lot of misinformation about HDMI 2.0b, but I should be able to have the option for 144 Hz if my understanding is correct

This monitor has AMD Freesync, but it is supposed to be G-SYNC compatible.
1: How can I get the 144 Hz option to show up
2: How do I turn on G-SYNC when it is not showing up in the NVIDIA Control Panel?
