  1. You ruined it for him LMAO. This problem is everywhere, people just don't notice it. It's sometimes the nature of the games itself. However, some other times it's the GPU behaviour. The reason I'm saying the latter is because I recently let GTA V use the settings it wants (default ones) and the game looked beautiful (almost unnoticeable jaggies - very playable) until the last freaking mission. I enjoyed the great graphics for about 4 days consecutively. On the 5th day when I went for round 2 in the evening, it returned to the crappy look. The game ending felt so unsatifsying
  2. No cases. In the case of hellgatsu, it looks like a problem with messing with gpu control center; AMD or NVIDIA. I use an AMD GPU. Those artifacts and crap went away after a DDU uninstall and fresh driver install. If you are using an AMD GPU, I suggest let the profile be on standard and not esports or gaming. Btw @helltgatsu, shed some light by uploading videos of gameplay from your PC and the other PCs in your house (which according to you have none of the problems). Thank you.
  3. Yep. Better now than never. Although I wished I never noticed it. It's the crappy game and rise of competitive gaming. These players purposefully have their AA turned off. It seems that they have an advantage of seeing their opponents quicker. So, they got used to it. Even if they play other games, this issue that we are facing are "non-existant" for them. On the other hand there are people who play games for their visual appeal, all of us on this forum fall in this category of gamers. And man are we disappointed. Tantalus made a great post about it above saying how game developers don't care.
  4. After watching few gameplay on youtube, Gears 5 seems to not have the issue. Other games have them if you look carefully in those walkthrough videos. Thanks for this. I was planning on getting gears 5. Seems like the issue still there in gears 5?
  5. Welcome our new sufferer, DrDisrespect from twitch. There are two links here where he is trying to fix the issue with graphics settings. Everything was great the previous day, then it went jaggy and crap the next. The youtube video ends when he says he fixed it. He didn't. If you want to find out more about this issue. watch the full stream on twitch on his page. The stream title is : "Nothin but wins w/ NICKMERCS | @DrDisrespect ". It's a 7 hour long stream. There is hope now because he is a well known twitch streamer. However, he might just buy a whole new rig for his next stream and from what we know, it solves the issue temporarily. Skip to 6.58 for the youtube video.
  6. Oh. Thank you. Won't do that then. There is an option in Radeon Software (adrenalin) under global graphics where we have the option to "Reset shader cache". Did that and one game is "playable" now (Assassin's creed Syndicate). Up close the jaggies are bearable compared to last time I played. However, it might be a placebo effect too...
  7. For me, it started after one week. It happened after trying to tweak GTA V settings in the AMD Adrenalin settings. I just wish I didn't play with those. Now all my games look like crap. I believe it is software related. Software associated with the GPU. DDU fresh driver install, bios reset,...nothing works. Not going to reinstall windows, nobody had luck with that anyway. So it there any way to 'reset' the gpu? (as in its settings or whatever)
