Solved! Strangely, the XBOX app needed the game to be fully installed before playing.

I can only see that you have the game installing to C:\XboxGames but the download/installer is looking in C:\Program Files\...

I would maybe search in Google for "installing Game Pass games not in default directory" or something similar.

I don't have Game Pass so I can't troubleshoot it directly

We dont know the performance, those are "early" Benchmarks aka generally scams that clickbait people. They are lying.

1440p Is kind of a middle ground in terms of what you want to do, Do you want to play high settings AND high fps? 1440p with one of those will be fine. Hopefully some really good quality 300hz/360hz 1440p monitors come out with top notch color accuracy, that paired with one of those gpus would be wonderful. Although it also heavily depends on the games.

3090/3090ti/4090's are almost never worth it for gaming just due to the price. 4090 is probably gonna start at 1799-2199, and is going to require a hefty/new PSU in the 1200-1600W range to be safe. Nobody actually needs that for just gaming, since 3080/4080 should be within a very close %.

You paid for the whole gpu, you should use the whole gpu. What settings are you playing at? Are you getting good performance?

I've never used it personally, but as long as you're not graphic designer I don't think you will have any issue with it. The main problems with Neo G7 is its curve and poor viewing angle which limited your optimum working space and could intefere with colour-critical tasks, that doesn't mean much for most people who only work with numbers or texts. 32 inches are also large enough that the curvature of the monitor won't affect your normal operation too much. I have a friend who use Samsung's aggressively curve monitor at 32 inch and it looks fine.

Is it ideal? No, but it will do the job. My monitor has about just as bad viewing angle as the Neo G7 and it never bother me when doing basic office functions.

Because it is VA panel which had narrow viewing angle compare with IPS or OLED.

People surrounding that not watch in straight will get slightly washout view.

You can check the viewing angle performance at Rtings to know how it perform.

It's a steal at 900 buck, I don't think you could get anything better for gaming and media consumption. No reason to not get it other than if you are a hardcore photo editor or something I think

What disk? Lemme guess, a Seagate? 268 reallocated means there is a good chance of data corruption if it rises. Keep it running for a few hrs/days and see if that goes up. Back it up ASAP, though

Keep an eye on that count when you use the drive, make sure it doesn't increase rapidly.

I recommend replacing the drive (or at the very least, making sure you have backups of everything important that's on it) and relegating it to shelf duty as an additional backup drive.

It's 40% more cores on the 3080, hence 40% more performance potential. I dont see why you shouldn't spend the 300 more if you can.

You can pair an HDD with PrimoCache to lessen load times. A 4TB drive will help you accommodate more stuff 🙂

You're Windows 10 install must have been an MBR install. MBR only work on Legacy. So before you switch to UEFI, you must convert it from MBR to GPT.

So, change your BIOS settings to the old one, then boot into Windows 10 and there is an tool called MBR to GPT. You can google it, there are many tutorials out there. After converting to GPT, you can switch to UEFI.

I would wait, hold out for an RX 6800 (580) and a Ryzen 5 5600x ($300). They'll be much faster. The 5600x will turbo up to 4.6 at stock.

I recommend waiting for reviews of the 6800XT, the RTX 3080 doesn't really overclock much unless you go with a high end AIB model because Nvidia are pushing clocks pretty hard already. The 3080 FE can hit 80c at stock, so you'll also want to pick an AIB card like the Asus TUF or the 3080 FTW3 if you want lower temps.
