  1. I ended up taking the build to my local shop, and he checked everything on his test bench. He said everything seems to be working fine except the motherboard ( go figure) and suggested there might be something in the case causing a short and hinted at user error, he also said he double checked the standoffs to make sure there weren't any that shouldn't be installed for this board and was left scratching his head just as much as I have been. So now I'm RMA'ing this board too and window shopping other boards that are compatible with the Ram and m.2 SSD I already have. Any Suggestions for decent boards compatible with the 3600 out of the box ( as i dont have an older Ryzen to update bios with) would be helpful. in the mean time i'll be checking QVL's for anything I can find. Components so far: Ryzen 5 3600 G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 3600 16GB (2x8gb) F4-3600C18D-16GTZRX MSI Radeon RX 580 DrirectX 12 Armor X 8GB 256-bit DDR5 WD blue SN550 NVMe m.2 500gb WDS500G2B0C Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM 256MB EVGA 650 BQ 80+Bronze semi modular DEEPCOOL Matrexx 50 ADD-RGB 4F
  2. This whole thing is making doubt my abilities to set up computers anymore.
  3. This is the second mother board, I sent back the old one and just recieved this one a couple hours ago. Set everything up and still the same issue. Although, now that I've checked, the gpu fans arent turning in at all. Might reset it and try again but I doubt at this point itll make a difference My AMD Fx6100 wasnt this much of a pain. I set everything up and it just worked Idgi
  4. I just recieved a replacement asrock x570 pro4 motherboard got everything installed. Double and triple checked everything and it still seems to be doing the same thing. Case fans light up and spin, Ram lights up, CPU fan spins, gpu fans spin. Everything seems fine other than the fact that the PSC LEDs for CPU and Dram are lit, and it still wont show anything on screen
  5. Should I reorder the same ASrock x570 pro4 board or look into an ASUS AM4 TUF GAMING X570-Plus or ASUS Prime X570-P Ryzen 3 AM4 instead? Im about to clear off some table space to disassemble it and double check the back of the board. Im sure I was careful enough with mounting it that I didn't scratch it with the standoffs. At this point Im just frustrated and confused as to why it still wont do anything
  6. Alright. So I've got the G.skills TridentZ DDR4 installed which is listed on the QVL's for both the CPU and MoBo. Still seems to be doing the same thing. I'm gonna let it cycle a few times to see if it eventually posts but so far nothing on screen.
  7. I manually unplugged and reinserted all cables and plugs, even the ones that i wouldn't imagine were related to the issue. The ram i originally ordered with everything else was suggested by newegg when i added the CPU so i assumed it was compatible. The LPX version was suggested by multiple build guides i've watched with people using Ryzen 5 3rd gen or higher so again i assumed it'd work. I checked both QVL's and finally found a set of modules that should be compatible with both the CPU and Mobo and have them on the way with 2 day shipping but they wont be here until mid next week. I can get a couple pictures up of the inside of the case, however i've already repackaged the LPX ram and its ready to ship. regardless of ram installed or not the same PSC LED's light up.
  8. I cant get into even the bios to try updating it. I just pulled the CPU fan and made sure its sitting alright and the CPU has no bent pins. Everything seems alright, I've double and triple checked all the connections and cables multiple times now. I still cant figure out whats wrong. I've got another set of ram in my new egg cart, debating on ordering it and sending the Vengeance LPX back, but at this point it'll be the third set of Ram modules I've tried.
  9. I recently decided that building a whole new rig would be more fun and future proof than trying to upgrade my 12yo. tower. I went with: ASrock x570 pro4 Ryzen 5 3600 Corsair Vengence LPX 3200 Sdram 16gb(2x8gb) after trying and failing to post with Corsair Vengence RGB 3200 Dram 16gb (2x8gb) MSI Radeon RX 580 WD 500gb Nvme m.2 SSD and a EVGA 650w Psu After assembling everything in the Deepcool Matrexx 50 ADD-RGB 4f case and attempting the first boot, the CPU and DRAM PSC LEDs stay on and solid, I attempted reseating the ram to make sure I didn't accidentally leave either end of them not pressed in all the way and the same LED's still stay on, its cycled through probably 20 or 30 attempts with 0 post. there are no beeps or anything else coming from the board. The Corsair vengeance RGB ram was the first i tried as it was suggested by newegg while i was adding the MB and CPU to the cart, when it didnt work i RMA'd it and ordered the LPX which on newegg says "Recommend Use: AMD & Intel Compatible / AMD Ryzen Compatible / Intel Compatible" but it is now doing the same thing. I've tried jumping the Cmos posts and retrying to boot with no avail. I'm not sure what else to try now other than ordering G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3600 which is on both Ryzen and Asrock's QVL's but also listed as O.C. for the MB
