  1. I have a Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL. Due to an accident, the screen on the laptop is damaged. The screen uses a 30 pin connector, instead of replacing the screen with the same 720 Panel, is it possible for me to buy a 1080P panel from ebay with a 30 pin connector and expect it to work? Are there any way I need to be sure the panel is compatible before I purchase the replacement screen? I do not want to buy a 720 panel. Thanks
  2. I was able to get the Transcend 128GB 42mm drive to install on a Lenovo T450S on the WWAN port. Everything works flawlessly. Fedora 31 is installed with Luks encryption enabled on the drive. Windows 10 with BitLocker enabled. On the other note, the NVMe m.2 SSD did not work on the Lenovo T460 or T470, it would not recognize the drive during installation. I was able install the NVMe m.2 SSD on the WWAN port in a Dell Latitude E7450, the drive was recognized, but I tried various methods, but it would not boot directly from the NVMe drive, it can be used as a secondary drive in additional to the Sata SSD, but my goal was Multi boot from the 2 drives independently. Does anyone have any recommendation on things to try? Thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply, The HP Probook G6 looks promising. Personally never a fan of HP laptops. How is the touchpad on the laptop?
  4. I did a bit more research, the issue is with the m.2 ssd drive. I purchased an NVMe m.2 2242 drive, hopefully it will work. I will update this thread when I receive it next week. Back to the original inquiry, are there laptops that are lightweight (14" or smaller) that can support 2 ssd drives?
  5. 2.5 and a M.2 would work. I have tried Lenovo T460, Dell Latitude E7450, E7470, and bunch of other Lenovo and Dell Laptops., the WWAN M.2 does not detect the M.2 drive (Transcend 128GB 42mm), issue is not the M.2 drive.
  6. I have been doing some research and can not seem to find any portable, 14" screen and light weight laptop (under 4 pounds) at a reasonable price that support dual hard drives. I am currently using an Older Lenovo for this purpose through the WWAN slot. but many of the newer model does not support this feature. I was wondering if there is a modern laptop that supports booting directly from both Hard drives. Such as a Linux OS and a Windows 10 OS with encryption enabled boot level for both OS. Thanks
