  1. Make sure you go in your Radeon Adrenalin and set your power limit to 100 percent. I was getting crashes on my RX Vega and realized that my Vega was only set to half power. Also, the version 20.4.1 fixed a lot of black screen issues.
  2. So I've decided to use Adrenalin because of the extra voltage control. The only thing I'm missing is that I don't get to see my CPU temps in the on screen display, but I can just check Ryzen Master if I'm that curious.
  3. Thanks for the info! After doing the OC, I saw that Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Modern Warfare, and Fortnite were all taking advantage! I was getting about 10-20 more FPS. But Hellblade was a different story. This game really doesn't like my overclock and its dipping in frames all over the place. I get 90 - 100 FPS in it on Ultra settings with just the standard clocks. Is that normal for that game?
  4. I have an RX Vega 64 card and I've been wanting to overclock, especially since I heard you can potentially get about 15 percent more performance through an undervolt overclock. It seems that everyone is using Radeon Wattman/Adrenaline to do the overclock rather than Afterburner. Usually, everyone I've seen has used MSI Afterburner for Overclocking(That's normally my software of choice too).. Which one would be the better software for undervolting then overclocking?
  5. So they were bent way too far back for me to bend them back. I tried bending them slowly but they just ended up breaking off. In the near future if I need more USB, I'll just buy a PCI-E USB expansion card or I could just get a USB to plug into my USB-C connection. At least I tried and thank you guys for giving me the courage to go for it. Learning to be a better PC builder is super fun.
  6. So I recently made my first build and I was so proud of myself for making this mistake free.... until I figured out of of my USB 3.0 ports on the front of the case wasn't working. After closer investigation, I figured out that one of the pins where blue USB 3.0 cable goes is bent all the way back towards the board. Should I attempt to bend it back? Is the risk even worth it?
  7. I'm having the same issue as well. I'll tell you if I find a solution.
  8. So after some exstensive research, I actually found out that the "memory temperature" option in MSI Afterburner is for video memory on the graphics card. That's why the temps for the "RAM" and GPU mirrored each other. Thanks for the help everyone! Stay safe out there.
  9. So I just put together my first personal pc build. I set my fan curves and all the temps are fine except for my RAM. I was testing it in Modern Warfare and according to rivatuner and afterburner, my RAM usually sits around 72-73c in game. I'm kind of perplexed. I have 2 intake fans, 2 exhaust, a cooler master hyper 212 RGB with 2 fans. I feel like I should have enough ventilation. Is this something I don't need to worry about? My voltage is on an auto setting at 1.372 volts and XMP is turned on. I'm also using T-Force Delta RGB Ram at 3200mhz.
  10. Thanks everyone! I ended up getting the 3200 MHz. It went on sale for 75 USD.
  11. Does memory speed really make a difference in performance between 3000 and 3200mhz? I just want to overpay if 200mhz doesn't really make a difference.
