  1. ofc, i'm not recommanding the rx5700 for your case, maybe you can look for a used 980ti (6GB) or R9 390(X) (8GB) and a good power supply. A RX480 would be fine too (it uses way less power), if you find a 8GB one (I'd personally recommend a card with more than 4GB of Vram, for example borderlands 3 is using all of the 4GB of my r9 290 in 1080p)
  2. you should really avoid the rx560 imo, a friend of mine had one ; it was awful and 1080p was borderline playable (now he's running a rx5700, it's night and day for him)
  3. Well WU is gone to lala land again ... GPU did get a boost by freeing one CPU thread
  4. @GOTSpectrum @Gorgon thanks for the help ! this WU is getting even weirder : it's accelerating now ! edit ok i'm setting the cpu back to 7 threads
  5. if I remember correctly, it was around the 1:30min range this morning (on an other WU ofc)
  6. @GOTSpectrum then should I cancel this WU and wait for an other one ? because 800 points in 36 hours doesn't seem woth it
  7. @GOTSpectrum here's the advanced control panel if it's of any use to dertermine the problem edit : it's weird that my firepro is getting wrongly reported, even GPUz see it as a m5100
  8. it's boosting around 3.55ghz right now, pw limit set at 40watts to avoid overheating ^^ (75°C)
  9. @Plexas it's not that, i'm checking the temp and clocks with intel XTU, and it's fine
  10. @GOTSpectrum, you seem very knowledgeable about folding, any idea of what is going on ? only 800PPD instead of around 25000
  11. OK so my i7 4940mx (extreme edition) was running well over 20.000 PPD, what the hell is that ? Should I cancel this WU ?
