  1. I wanted to say I had a blast folding with all of you... I can't believe the amount of cumulative experience, knowledge, and brain power, and most of all willingness to come together for a purpose that's greater than any of us from the members on this team. It's been an honor. I can't wait for the next event... and more drink recipes. I'm pretty happy..., first time folder, 170th place 3900x, 5700xt then "borrowed" my son's laptop (rtx 2060m) when people started adding machines.. I was surprised, the 2060m was averaging higher points per wu than the 5700xt.. I would see ~87k jobs on the 5700xt while the 2060 would consistently get 150k..I'll have to look into that..
  2. Like I said, I'm a member of the Grammar Nazis of America... dyslexic branch... Thanks for that catch!
  3. It's one thing to have points delayed, but come on! I have never folded nor would i ever fold for a team named "Grammar Nazis of America" Anyone having points show up on another team? I had an initial work unit when I first started - before I joined LTT, but the WTH is going on: Double-checked the config on both Desktop and Laptop and they show the Team ID for LTT: Desktop: Laptop:
  4. It's stable with everything else... Cinebench, Novabench, 3DMark, everyday use.. I just overclocked it this morning.... I've been stock pretty much up until then Ahh... I did upgrade the drivers yesterday to the Optional 20.3.1... I was on the release drivers up until that point... Wanted more points ... If I error out again, I'll switch back to the release drivers. I'll probably try OC again later... I don't want to lose any WU - both for me as well as for the COVID 19 effort. Thanks all!
  5. Aww... I guess I'll go back to stock on the rx5700xt... Gaining 200Mhz (1900 -> 2100) isn't worth losing an entire WU. This is the first time it's happened since I started folding, though... but better safe than sorry. Anybody else have any experience with Radeon 5700xt running overclocked for f@h? 21:08:13:WU02:FS00:0xa7:Completed 445000 out of 500000 steps (89%) 21:08:32:WU01:FS01:0x22:Bad State detected... attempting to resume from last good checkpoint. 6. Actually, I do not think that those 2 dips are for checkpoint as other suggested. It's actually happening between frames on some AMD cards (I'd check TPF in your Advanced Client as I am 99% sure it will be around 2 minutes just like your dips ;). Spot on! TPF is at 1 min 24 sec. saw 1 dip, started stopwatch and the next dip happened right around 1 min 27 sec (probably b/c I had stopwatch and other stuff running at the same time). Thanks!
  7. Does anyone know what could be causing these dips in GPU Usage? They happen about 2/minute. At first, I thought it might be thermal throttling, so I changed the fan profile to a higher curve...but it's still happening.. Radeon 5700xt. The only thing running on this machine is f@h... the 2 dips after that were probably me starting up snipping tool in windows and capturing the graph...
  8. I started folding right after I saw the LTT video - like a lot of the folks here. So far: Running on r9 3900x and Radeon 5700xt since the beginning... and currently have the front, side, and top covers off of my rig with a fan blowing on my gpu...lol. Also can't wait till those work units are more stable... I still have a lot of idle time on the GPU... CPU's been pretty consistently busy.
  9. @GOTSpectrum Great work on your Video! on the front page: https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ LTT starts the climb up at 1:14 :)
  10. Thanks..just got a WU...(I get notifications from my GPU blower...sounds like an airplane engine when the WU starts processing)
  11. Hi, Just joined and started folding after the LTT video.. So I looked at the logs and see the following... is this something wrong with my side or theirs... I get this a few times a day.
