  1. Hi! So, I have this sort of issue where the CPU draw in MSI Afterburner, CPU Temp, and other software doesn't make sense at all, at max load it's only 20W, isn't it supposed to be higher considering it's a 65W TDP chip? Have I done something wrong perhaps? Is there a setting I forgot to turn on or did I install drivers incorrectly, etc.? Or maybe that's what the CPU is supposed to consume from the beginning, I really don't have a clue, if that is the case and I just wasted your time, I strongly apologize ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PC Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super RAM: 2x8GB 3600MHz CL16 Crucial Ballistix DDR4 RAM (Ran at 3200MHz 16-18-18-36) Motherboard: ASUS EX-A320M-GAMING Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE 650W Power Supply Storage: 256GB Kingston NVME SSD / 3.5" 1TB 7200RPM WD Blue HDD / 2.5" 500GB 5400RPM WD Blue HDD / 2.5" 500GB 5400RPM Toshiba HDD
  2. Oh ok, yeah I was just hoping for any decent improvement, even if little. Cooling the room a bit should probably be my priority though... It also helps to make my room inhabitable lol Thanks a lot for the help!
  3. I see, well since I was testing with the case open, I don't think a better case fan setup or a better airflow case would help me anyway, so I guess I will just go with the best cooler I can find that fits my budget, thanks a lot for the explanation!
  4. Yeah, it would be really interesting to see Linus test this!
  5. My PC specs are as follows: CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU - AMD Radeon RX Vega 11 RAM - 1x8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 3200MHz CL16 (I know, I am sorry, I will upgrade it as soon as possible) CPU Cooler - AMD Wraith Stealth Motherboard - ASUS EX-A320M-GAMING Case - Mercury Rigel (Just a cheap, bad airflow case, maybe I need to upgrade it also) Power Supply - Mercury KEZ-M200 300W (Yeah...) Storage - 128GB TeamGroup GX2 - 3.5" 1TB WD Blue 7200RPM 64MB Cache Hard Drive - 2.5" 500GB WD Blue 5400RPM 32MB Cache Hard Drive So, the temperature of the room that time was 36°C, I wasn't even in the room back then, my PC was on folding and I just returned to my room to find that it turned into an oven, I don't think the 36°C is from the CPU, but actually just because it was the only room that didn't have the AC turned on During my investigation, I ran the PC with the case open, and when the room is cold, like 18°C-20°C (With the AC on), it was way better! But when the room got hot again to around 36°C, I still got the same result, which was 95°C (Thermal Throttling)
  6. I don't know if this is the right place for this topic/thread, but if it's not, I am really sorry I was kinda wondering which would be better for hotter climates, an AIO or an Air Cooler, since I live in Bahrain where the temperatures in the summer can easily reach 40°C and beyond, yeah... I care less about the temperature of the room itself and more about which solution can kick more heat into an already heat saturated room, or are they both the same in terms of that? I don't really know, I am not that good at Physics. But yeah, I reached some insane temperatures last summer when I was using my Air Cooler and I wonder if an AIO would make a difference, or I could just buy a better Air Cooler, I am in need for better cooling either way since my current Air Cooler is not good enough for the summer and I will have to compensate for that. So yeah, what do you guys think?
  7. Just out of curiosity. I wanted to know what motherboard has better VRM. The EVGA Z490 Dark KINGPIN or The ASUS ROG Maximus XII Extreme Z490 ?
  8. Does anyone know what the original name that Linus Tech Tips parodied into Linum t.i.? Excuse my lack of knowledge...
  9. Is there a way I can know what my memory timing is without pulling the RAM stick out of the system? -PC Specs: Motherboard: ASUS EX-A310M-GAMING CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU: AMD Vega 11 Graphics RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1x8GB 3200MHz Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM WD10EZEX Hard Drive Case: Mercury Rigel Power Supply: Explosive "300W" Power Supply (I am sorry, I will replace it once I have enough money)
  10. Unfortunately, I am not able to buy more RAM now. So I am trying to squeeze as much performance as I can from my existing hardware. Thanks for your help!
  11. Hi! I have a single stick of 8GB RAM (Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4-3200MHz 1x8GB) And I wanted to overclock at at least so I can get better performance. How do I check if RAM is stable when I overclock? -PC Specs: Motherboard: ASUS EX-A310M-GAMING CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU: AMD Vega 11 Graphics RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1x8GB 3200MHz Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM WD10EZEX Hard Drive Case: Mercury Rigel Power Supply: Explosive "300W" Power Supply (I am sorry, I will replace it once I have enough money)
  12. So, not even an RTX 2060? I was going to pair it with an RTX 3060 (once available). It is good that I asked here before buying. Thank you so much for you help!
  13. So, 2x 2 Stick Kits from the same brand and with the same clock don't work with each other? Even if they got the same timing?
  14. I will have to find another one then. No problem at all! Thanks for you help!
  15. I was considering buying another 8GB stick with the graphics card and the power supply. The reason is: I wanted to get them last year because in most games, my RAM is full, my iGPU is pinned at 100% while my CPU is just chilling lol. I couldn't get them last year in my holiday (June 2020 - July 2020) because of COVID, and I can't buy anything until this holiday again, sooo yeah... (I can't buy anything until it is holiday, and I can travel to my hometown) It's a long story. Also, one more question if you don't mind. Do I have to find another Kingstone HyperX Fury 8GB 3200MHz stick, or just any 8GB DDR4-3200MHz stick? Edit: More information
  16. What is the most powerful graphics card I can pair with the 2400G without a CPU bottleneck? I prefer a CPU bottleneck to a GPU bottleneck though, so if there is a graphics card that is a little more powerful than the CPU can handle, no problem! Also, what power supply should I get with this graphics card? (PC Specs below in this post) -PC Specs: Motherboard: ASUS EX-A310M-GAMING CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G GPU: AMD Vega 11 Graphics RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1x8GB 3200MHz Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 7200RPM WD10EZEX Hard Drive Case: Mercury Rigel Power Supply: Explosive "300W" Power Supply (I am sorry, I will replace it once I have enough money) Edit: Added Storage to the PC Specs
  17. I heard that the 911 Carrera is reliable, that's where the $100K price came from. I posted that ^^^^ because I wanted to see if someone could help me and offer me more options, maybe even cheaper options.
  18. I convinced them, I really really love cars, and they know that. I saved up $30K and they are going to pay the rest. It doesn't have to cost $100K, it might cost a little bit less the 100K is the maximum, also it is going to be reliable right? That is what I asked you guys to help me with, I don't have experience with expensive sports cars being reliable, I owned a 2008 1.8 Honda Civic, and a Mazda Miata, they were both extremely reliable, I gave the Miata to my brother when he got his driving license, and now I still have the Civic with 160k miles on the clock, I will sell it of course if I bought a new car, and since it will be reliable I will just daily drive it, why not?
  19. Hi! I finally saved up some money. And my parents are going to help me with the rest (I don't have enough to pay for the whole thing). What is the most reliable new fun car I could buy with a maximum budget of $100,000? Edit: That's US Dollars Around 131,352 Canadian Dollars at the time of writing this
