  1. Hey! I made it to 3'rd on team LTT. now to never catch up to 1 and 2 lol /patsselfonback
  2. i lost a Zotac 2080ti amp extreme, 1 cheap 256GB ssd, and 2 EVGA 750 PSU's. sadly the only thing i care about is the 2080ti - it started to fail WU and i kept having to power limit and back clocks off until about 3/4 the way through the contest it outright refused to do anything. RIP my 2080ti - now for RMA.
  3. as always its been a blast @Den-Fi wow just wow, 129 mil today. im not worthy /bow thanks to @GOTSpectrum, @marknd59, @cbigfoot, @leadeater, and anyone else who helped out. we did a good thing. Now to spin everything down back to a 12mill ppd and get some quiet and heat outa the server room.

  5. im embarrassed for you even saying that in here. Someone always has to stomp on the fun and great spirit everywhere. People like you are why everything has to have set in stone rules and regulations FOR EVERYTHING. Seriously @GOTSpectrum and the team put many hours into this, show some dam respect. Welcome to real life, its not fair.
  6. i had a dual Xeon system with quad titan maxxwells all watercooled - was the worst decision i ever made dont do it. After a year ish i took it off water and returned it to air. Water is not meant for 24/7 loads and all it does is heat the hell outa your room and degrade the coolant super fast. On 24/7 use i had to change the coolant every few months as it would degrade - i literally tried 3-4 different kinds and it didnt matter only lasted a few months. and draining and filling a loop is not super easy or clean. change back to air and the parts run hotter but still within range and all you do is blow them out every year. for 24/7 rigs i wouldnt water cool, theres a reason commercial stuff isnt water cooled.
  7. impressive if you can build them that cheap but again used cards may make that possible if you get them cheap enough - just make they sure they are 8GB and not 4GB. If they are 8 gb its possible to do 180MH/s and cheap or free power i would run it. It will be positive - just be careful on the PSU as running 1 PSU on those power hungry cards will be tough for 24/7 and that budget. I run 2 750's on all my rigs. You can get them down to around 100W each if your bios tweaking and they are decent cards - but 125w is probably more realistic per card with my experience.
  8. a pcix4 slot will throttle 2080 super and higher. All my rigs are x570 boards bifurcated and dumping anything 2080 super or higher they throttle some. pcix1 slots throttle everything massively. Even some of my old RX580 8GB throttle hard on them.
  9. in all honesty we know @Macaw2000 can do impressive numbers with mercenaries, but honestly to do 45mil in a day all in house is dam impressive. i bow to the @Den-Fi on a positive note my 2 zotac amp extreme 2080 ti's are enroute to me from RMA - hopefully they get here soon.
  10. i hear you. people dont realize the heat levels until they step into the mining area and see the racks of rigs and the blast of heat that hits you and the noise of the fans.... commercial circ fans and northern winters are all that saves me lol. on another note ive now taken to dusting the rigs with my gas backpack blower - works really well.
  11. @Macaw2000 go away you!! i dont want to have to switch the other rigs from mining!!! here i thought i would be nice and comfy in 3'rd and wouldnt have to work too hard to just hang there.
  12. then it would be a more exclusive club! we could get the fancy couches and butlers with wicked awsome cocktails and have fancy music playing in the background. Seriously there needs to be a higher badge level or 2. i hate to say it but i agree with @Den-Fi
  13. ok @Macaw2000 you made your point go back to your other computing project now. i was comfortable where i was and i dont want to have to attempt to find more.
  14. no idea where you can get 180mh eth rig for 800 bucks. good luck on that
  15. oh god, here comes the mercenaries @Macaw2000 everyone take a step down in the rankings please.
  16. naw you should be - i dont want to have to spin more things up to maintain just above you lol
  17. i run everything on site here, as my power bill also confirms this - i do have a ton of hardware though. seriously though listen to @Gorgon i have alot of those exact rigs and they work flawless just dont cheap on the PUS's and 750 watt PSU's are cutting it too close go 850's.
  18. *hugs my buddy @Den-Fi till he passes out* friend
  19. ok tell us how you really feel, because im sure i feel the same about the mercenaries aswell...
  20. @Den-Fi lies! I knew there was more! UNLEASH EVERYTHING!!!
