I need to get an HDMI switch to use with my TV, I currently have 2 HDMI inputs on the TV and a soundbar plugged in. I make this work by unplugging hdmi cables and plugging in to other devices when needed. I am looking to see if there are any CEC HDMI switches that will display the ports on the switch as a source on the TV through the CEC identification. I am not sure if this is possible but if so it would make things much simpler for my family.

The video was poorly done. I get why he made the choice to not test it on the 4090 but it was not the right call. As for Billet not being able to just make another one, what was their plan when they told LMG to keep it? Yes, they changed their mind after seeing the "review" and wanted it back, and LMG screwed up by not sending it back. LMG made a lot of mistakes there is no arguing that. It doesn't change the fact that GN spin of LMG being evil and he is Billets saviour is contradicted by evidence LMG would have shown GN had GN looked for evidence to formulate an accurate story instead of an advantageous one.

You just hit on the problem with the review on the cooler. I believe there was no malicious intent on the review. It seems Linus did not view it as a review rather a video experimenting with an impractical cooler. Had they clearly stated that it was not being used in the manor that it was meant to and that it was not a review I do not believe there would be a problem with the video. But with the labs and what they are trying to do they need to have a way to clearly define when they are "goofing off" vs having a serious review.

Yes, It would have been nice if Steve reached out first. Then he could have had a more factual video. He would have had the evidence to show that the Billet labs ordeal was not a malicious attempt to destroy a company. He would have seen that this was not a one of a kind prototype that was going to destroy a company by not getting back. He would have seen that LMG was trying to make it right. Instead, he chose to not do what he did when dealing with ASUS or Newegg, he ran a story putting the spin on it that would benefit him.

It is disingenuous to say that it took Billet contacting GN to get anything done. LMG contacted Billet to let them know that they fucked up and sold the block. 1 business day later GN put out his video and LMG responded after that. To say that it taking 1 business day for a company to discuss what to do in this unprecedented situation means that they would not have done anything is a stretch.

From the point LMG notified Billet there was an issue to the GN video was one business day. We have seen nothing that tells us they were aware of the mistake prior to that. According to Billet they have agreed to a price, Linus tracked down and offered to get the card back for billet but they decided they would sooner have the agreed upon price. We are currently at most 4 business days into the fiasco since they were notified it was sold. Yes there were major fuck ups by LMG and they need to get their shit fixed. There is no evidence of lying between LMG and Billet.

Because he wants to run a company that treats his employees well. If the employees feel the need to unionize that means they feel they are not getting what they deserve and feel they need to bring someone in to negotiate for them. That means Linus failed at treating his employees as well as they should be.

Linus does not refuse to let his employees form a union. There is nothing he can do to stop them if they choose to. All he can do is try to create a workplace that makes them not choose to do so.

Read what he wrote. He did not say He had agreed to a price with Billet. He did not say LMG and Billet agreed. He said we agreed. Quite possibly meaning that LMG has agreed that they will pay what they need to to make it right. Remember this all happened over the course of a couple business days.
