Whelp, my 670 died within hours of folding. To be fair i picked it up for $20 at goodwill 2 years ago, and used it daily for 1.5 years.

Yah I had high temps as well at first. I have the DH-15 cooler. All I had to do was do i -.1 vcore offset and its drops my temps to a nice 79c while running both my liquid cooled 1080ti and the ryzen 3950x at the same time. I run 26 cores and get 3.91 ghz and pulling upwards of 2mil PPD at times when they are both running.

Currently down but when it comes online hopefully it will help relieve some pressure off the other servers.

Use Ryzen master and set a PPT limit if you're having trouble with temperatures. It seems to increase efficiency(PPD/Watt) as well.

Nice the 3950x is really good at this stuff just make sure to leave one core open for the 2080ti! Happy folding!

This is my second official PC build and I love it! I've learned quite a bit since my novice days back in 2015, and with Lian LI's O11 Dynamic Razor edition case readily available and AMD knocking it out of the park with their Gen 3 series CPUs, everything just came together perfectly. SSDs are not included in the build parts list since I just transferred them from my old build and updated drivers for the new hardware. I create/analyze energy models for my engineering job and am also a huge PC gamer so it's nice to have a rig that can kick butt at both.😄
