  1. what do you guys think about this one? https://www.amazon.fr/AMD-YD192XA8AEWOF-Processeur-Ryzen-Coeurs/dp/B074CBJHCT/ref=sr_1_36?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=UY6EB9GNYNXN&dchild=1&keywords=i7+7700+k&qid=1590427475&sprefix=i7+7%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-36#customerReviews
  2. thanks for these insights. Do you have any suggestions for a cpu ugrade? should I go for a ryzen?
  3. what cpu do you suggest for this mobo and 1660 super? budget is 300/400€
  4. the Ti and the super both have 1 fan.. Am I not sure if both are GDRR6 though.. here are the cons for the super according to techpowerup Cooler is much too weak for the card's heat output High fan noise No idle fan stop No backplate Runs in power limiter most of the time, which complicates overclocking, too Power limit not increased over NVIDIA reference No hardware support for RTX and DLSS Memory not overclocked
  5. but wouldn't the 1660 Ti be more futureproof? I don't really mind spending those extra 50€ and I might soon go for a cpu ugrade
  6. Hi folks, I am lost with all these variants of the GTX 1660 ..(I came here after watching Linus video about this chip) short story: I got my hands on an alienware (Aurora R3 9-years-old gaming rig) that wasn't used since 2015 due to a defect in the migration to win10 (thanks Dell for not supporting this 3000£ computer just 3 years after purchase..) I managed to make it work now but the gpu clearly needs an upgrade (maybe cpu too, but one step at a time) current specs: MoBo: Alienware 046MHW LGA1155 CPU: Intel Core i7 2600; Alienware High-Performance CPU Liquid Cooling Memory: HyperX Genesis 8GBx2 + 2GBx2 DDR3 1600 Dual Channel (yeah 20GB although it only supports 16Go officially ) GPU:Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 Dual GPU (3GB VRAM) PSU: DELL 875W 80+ silver Storage: SSD 850 EVO 500Go + 1 TO Seagate HDD I would like to upgrade the gpu and although I am aware the MoBo is only 16x 2.0, I think this won't bottleneck any of these 1660 gpus (cpu might be the 1st to choke here) I have found these 3 gpu intresting but can't figure out which one is the most powerful (pricing is confusing and specs not accurate I think on amazon) and most off all, which one would perform the best with my setup (use is mainly 1440p/1080p gaming and probably VR) https://www.amazon.fr/PNY-Carte-Graphique-GeForce-Super/dp/B07ZPK6YRS/ref=sr_1_2?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&dchild=1&keywords=1660+super&qid=1590415129&s=computers&sr=1-2 https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07NXVKDLW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07PFQV7YW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The TI should be the most powerful right? any other suggestion is welcome, but I need to make a purchase tonight and most preferbaly from amazon.fr thanks for your help
