hey!
So i'm a complete computer noob, I recently purchased an I7 9700K to replace my previous I5 6600K
I replaced the cpu and pressed the power button but nothing happened. I was worried that something in my computer had broken so I replaced the I7 back to the I5 to see if the PC still worked, and it did.
I'm not sure why my computer wont work with the new CPU and need help!

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home x64 bit
Version: 10.0.18362 Build 18362
CPU: I5 6600K
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance
Motherboard: STRIX B250F Gaming (Rev X.0x)
PSU: Corsair VS 550
BIOS mode: UEFI
