Have you set your preferences on the primegrid website, you need to tell it what to do. 

Actual time is better but this is fine, just checking run time of mine since the are VMs and these one's I'm assigning out the HT threads too. Want to make sure I'm not killing performance worse than the additional threads

Tried it but had only problems with it, random driver errors  and the worst was that the gpu started to make a strange whining nose. After I reverted to the old driver the problems went away.

It happens on some WUs for me too. Do not worry about it too much until it starts being active 100% of time.

I even have constant coil whine whenever I do something that uses 100W+ (doesn't matter if it's GPU or CPU).
I have narrowed down my problem of coil whine to Mobo or PSU but I am too lazy to diagnose it further as I've learned to live with it until I make next big upgrade.
