Greedy Rosetta crashed two of my servers...
Might not have been a good idea to allow it 100% of the ram.

That will probably be my next major server upgrade.

788 atm. If I could have gotten in to work I could have built another 7-10 DL560 Gen8 servers with 4x E5-4650 in them plus maybe like another 4-6 other servers 💪

I think our only option is to simply overpower how much CPU they have. We don't know what they've got though and it seems as if they've got CPU to spare so it's anybodies guess weather or not we'll pull it off. You helped bridge the gap with that 275K dump this morning (I think that's what I saw). If we can pour everything we've got into it we may yet pass them but it'll be a photo-finish.

It will likely take a couple of hours for Javelin (NumberFields) to reflect the full score based on how long it took the servers to clear initially submitted tasks on previous throws. Once we do hit the target of 1.5M we need to be able to quickly shift as many resources over to the Marathon (Rosetta) while keeping sufficient resources on Sprint (Ibercivis) to maintain our position there.
 
It will be an interesting 24 hours.

Oh, just you wait... That 0 near my name is going to transform into multi-digit number.
 
I am bunkering a heck of a lot of Number jobs as well as ibercivis jobs and they are all gonna be released in 9 hours.
 
P.S. I am not really versed in bunkering and running multiple instances so I run everything on one instance and that is why a have a few of rosetta units expiring and I have to bunker together

If it helps anyone figure out where to put resources I should have around 1500 tasks done (not sure how many points that is) by the start of the next  Javelin throw and I can keep an R7 2700X running 12 threads and 2 x RTX 2060 running on it all day.
 

Welp it seems the estimator is useless, I'm actually at 50% after about 5h and it tells me 14 hours left 😅

I had most of my systems still crunching 10-20hours task for iber. I decided to cut losses and cancelled them all to get faster task (I noticed that sometimes I got ridiculously low points for 10hours task). Aaaand I got new tasks planned for 16hours 😢 I thought they removed them from the server...  (ok seems to be only artifacts in the estimation, it did 10% in 15min)

Also one server was still crunching rosetta while bunkered, all task are expired...
 
And my desktop custom loop started leaking last night  was expecting it (dirt cheap fittings with a loop running full blast since the f@h covid event). Now that is good news, I will finally be able to transplant the system in its new home. I have a LL 011 DXL waiting for couple of weeks !

Nobody told me to do anything else and when I asked I was told to keep focusing on the Marathon so...

P.S. I also screwed up major with my systems at home and they weren't doing Sprint jobs at all, tbh no idea if they were doing anything at all. I think maybe NumberFields but all the jobs they did do hit deadline and expired so total god damn waste.

Maybe he will update it when he wakes up. It's 5am in Russia.
