No, it does not light up, neither on the switch port nor the pc. The switch is a Goobay 1000 base-t gigabit.

Hi, My PC does not connect to the internet with an ethernet cable when it is connected through a switch. When I connect it directly to the router it works. All ports in the switch work. I have even tried with the same cable to other units. Here everything works. My Motherboard is a MSI B450 Gaming Plus. What to do?

Hi, Just bought a new TV (SONY XG85 55-inch 4k). It was only available in grey, and would really have wanted a black one. Does anyone have experience with covering the silver front edges with black tape/plastic or something else? And could heat be an issue? (especially bottom edge feels a bit warm when TV is on)

Yeah, have thought about that as well, but would just be easier running it natively (install the games from cd-roms, inputs, compatibility problems and so on)

I know, am also running windows 10 on all my other pc’s, need windows 7 for some old games, which do not work on windows 10, that’s why.

When i tried to install windows 7, the drive did not show up at all, but my 850 evo did.

Reason why i was asking is, that i bought a samsung 860 evo a while back, and i couldn’t see that drive when trying to install windows 7, that’s why i wanted to know about the bx500 specifically, but yeah, should work, just wanna be sure. Do you have any experience with the bx500 and windows 7 specifically?

Hi, got my laptop with intel hd 4000 and my desktop with a gtx 1050 ti. Trying to connect both to my two lg monitors, so when i wanna use either pc, i just turn that on, and it’ll work with those monitors, then shut down, and it’ll work with the other pc as well. But for some reason, it doesn’t seem to be working, just get black screen, but should be no problem, since i’m only using one pc at a time. Hope someone can help me out?
