  1. thanks ill see if any of thatll help, im not using google though not using google!
  2. anyone know how to set up F@H and drivers on a cloud based server? I have no idea what im doing, last time i used linux was 20 years ago
  3. i dont see why it would be an issue, ive got some old 650ti's and they still get wu's though not overly productive at 30kppd each lol
  4. yup, folding full pin on the cpu and no notable difference in being able to still use the computer. i guess, this isnt 1997 any more lol
  5. i havent been a 24/7/365 folder but ive always done it on some version of windows and the only time its BSOD'd is when i touch the wrong thing while its working
  6. incase anyone hasnt noticed (or its been posted in the last thousand pages and i missed it) LTT is the PPD leader by a BILLION PPD!
  7. i was looking at team stats earlier, and the current production levels are just crazy! unfortunately been getting some not so good wu's on the 2080 today and its been taking this machines production down by half at times
  8. If you think that’s ugly, I needed a little more power to keep on the board so I drug out the relic. top of the line countertop processing power running win10 on a external USB drive lol
  9. i needs more computations powerz!!! LOL Good job guys, we're getting the ol power meters just buzzin hehe
  10. whats your definition of "worth it" Ive got a couple 650s i can throw together on an old board and fold with it, but IMO its a waste of power as it would take at least a week to pump out the WU's the 2080ti in my rig will do in just one day
  11. it definitely can test out your cooling strategy! With just the 3950x on water and 2080ti on stock air, with both folding its no trouble keeping temps under 70 without cranking up the fans (near silent), but adding the x480 adds enough heat into the case that i have to turn fans up to a noticeable level to hold the same temps the way ive got the AIO set up its pulling cold air and pushing the warm into the case, which isnt the greatest but id rather keep the cpu cool and have case temps rise a bit. fortunately the case has alot of side venting to dump the heat
