    It's nice to see that the event has surpassed the one billion point barrier. I'm seeing a number of people who hasn't folded in the last 23 hours. I think it's important for you guys to meet the minimum participation requirements in mind.

    DISCLAIMER: Due to an issue with the master file provided by F@H this update will cover a 23 hour period, 00:00-23:00GMT. Tomorrows update cover 25 hours to make up for the loss.

    For a third day in a row Miker07 has retained the throne with 97.18 million points, Ben_ in second place is certainly looking like he is ready to king the would-be king a run for their money, with 84.79 million points. The challenge can be seen in the fact that they out performed Miker by almost two million points. Third place continues to be held by Justaphf, with 67.27 million points, looks pretty comfortable at the moment, with no imminent threats to be seen. Mxyzptlk also has retained their rank so far with 45.65 million points. They are looking even safer than the guy in front currently as fifth place is help by Favebook with 37.07 million points.

    Starman57 in 6th place, has a small chasm developing in front of them, holding their position with 31.15 million points. There are a couple people for them to be watching out for as people are speeding up to the aft. vsteel has kept hold of 7th place with 28.87 million points, but it is looking likely that by the next update that will be have knocked down a rank or two as those behind are ordering more steam. Pezui is looking to be advancing at a decent clip being rank 8 with 28.78 million points. I truly believe that if we we're to have had a full 24 hour update this battle for 7th place would have a different outcome, we shall be keeping a close eye to see the development. LazyDev, with 23.47 million points, has proven they are not so lazy, having picked up the pace and advancing two ranks over the last day or so. Finally we have dmynerd78 who has fallen back to take up the honour of being the gatekeeper with 23.46 million points.

    So, as you can see it remains exciting at Folding Month 2021, We can see some people has lost the wind from their sails, and others have commanded the boilers to full heat. One thing is certain, there are many days left for things to change up. Overall not much has changed in the top 10, with many shuffles in the lower ranks happening as some push harder, whilst others are faltering already.

    Please click on the link below to see the full list of ranks for the first day.

    This was a nice little event for us all to stretch our legs and keep ourselves warmed up for folding month this year. As many of you know I have been plagued with health issues. Due to the health conditions I have this will continue and slowly get worse. But I plan to keep pushing on with more events for as long as I can. Thank you to everyone who helps to make the events run smoothly and thank you to everyone who signs up for your understanding of my struggles.

    This will certainly not be the longest awards ceremony as is the case with sprint events but I would like to thank those that volunteered to help with the event. With a special thanks to @marknd59 @cbigfoot and @leadeater who are event veterans at this point.

    To claim prizes you need to drop me a PM within the next 7 days, with the subject line of, please can I have my prize.

    Thank you to everyone who got involved during this event. It was great to be back even with my own struggles.

    The next event will commence on the 1st of November, I look forward to seeing you all there.

    I ended up rewriting this as morphine-brained spec didn't write a good post.

    Happy folding,

    And so the final couple days are here, and there is still some excitement to be had!

    In first place we have Miker07 with 134.05 million points, sitting comfortably it would take a significant effort for anyone to catch the guy by this point. Justaphf is up in second place with 101.37 million points, I think this is the best position we will see from the phf for this event. The script breaker, Pezui takes third place with 63.20 million points. Ir8munk33 in in fourth place with 48.2 million points. He will certainly have to be careful with such a massive drop in production we could see his falling significantly. LazyDev is in fifth place with 44.99 million points and could be looking to capitalise on the guys ahead loss of steam to gain a rung higher. Lazy is followed by Baha who is sitting on 41.45 million points. RollinLower is in 7th place with 38.85 million points and is looking quite safe at this late point in the event. In 8th place we have GOTSpectrum with 30.55 million points and is certainly being challenged by those behind him. Kilrah is sitting in 9th with 27.97 million points followed closely by mindstormer7 who is the last of the top ten with 27.82 million points.

    Well to say this year has been eventful for me and my projects is an understatement.

    From my charity rapidly expending, to getting into a new relationship and finally back streaming on a semi regular schedule. All positive moves for sure.

    As is customary I will be writing a daily blog so everyone can follow along, there will be prizes, fun, science and heat!

    I don't have much to say, the steam is in good standing, holding onto Third place, but it is not without peril, there is a challenger, Bananoco threatens our place, but only time will tell if we can rise to that challenge.

    It was only a couple years ago that we were chasing the 10th position and now we stand in 3rd(I like to think second as I don't count the default team).

    We all fold for differing reasons, but one thing is shared by us all, and that is the need for MORE POWER!

    Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far please do find attached to this post the list of sign ups, that sheet will get updated sporadically so keep an eye on it. If you feel there is a need for an edit then please do message one of the team. The team this new is filled with a mixture of event team veterans and new faces, but none the less it is thank to these guys that the events can run the way they do, so please make sure that you thank them. Listed in no particular order:

    @GOTSpectrum @marknd59 @cbigfoot @leadeater @RollinLower @j1philli @piratemonkey @wall03 @J-from-Nucleon

    As a community we come from all walks of life, with access to all forms of hardware, from a handful of CPUs to cases jammed with GPUs, but no matter what you have, you are welcome to participate! We are working together, in the trenches as brothers and sisters, fighting to illuminate new knowledge, to further the expanse of human understanding and to help find cures and treatments for conditions once thought hopeless. We are the vanguard of scientific discovery, we stand on the shoulders of giants, and together we can build those giants even higher.

    The details of the event have already been published and can be found below.

    Well here we are, at the end of our little five day sprint. It went by super fast and half the team ended up unavailable due to illness or work.  So massive, MASSIVE Thanks to @cbigfootWho honestly did 70% of the work on this one. Really, He carried the event this time around and deserves all the thanks we can give him.

    I'm not going to talk too much hear as this is a low effort mini event but can we all just appreciate that somehow, Den-Fi managed to win again... no-one could have seen this coming... honestly... I'm sure he is as surprised as the rest of us. /s

    You have seven days to claim the prizes from this event. To claim the prize you need to DM me. It's that simple. They will now be rerolled if you don't claim they will simply be added to the community pool.

    Den-Fi continues his reign of terror at the top of the table and GOTSpectrum is hanging onto 20 by the skin of their teeth. We could be seeing some movement on the ranks in the last 24 hours with chaozbandit, Meganter, Bhoriss, Spotty, crippledcortex, Giggity and Favebook among those who could be taking another rank or two in the closing hours of the event.

    But I think for the most part the ranks we are seeing here are looking about set. But as you all know your rank is not overly relevant in this event as all prizes are available to all ranks. But we all know Mr. Den, will enjoy reaffirming his spot on the thrown.

    So here we are, the first day of results.

    I'm not planning to write all that much for this small five day event but I just wanted to thank everyone who has come along. You are all awesome and should be proud of the time and dedication you put into the fold. I was planning to do this last night but I fell asleep at my desk. Which is why I'm awake at such an early time. Turns out the new meds really do make me drowsy(no alcohol required)!

    Miker07 takes the lead with 36.1 million points, Den-Fi comes up in second with 25.2 million points and third place is Shouski with 21.4 million points. Gorgon is up next in fourth place with 18.5m points, Mxyzptlk is in fifth place with 15.9 million points and sixth place is occupied by Justaphf with 15.1 million points. LazyDev is in seventh place with 13.1m points, vsteel takes eight place with 10m, Baha is in ninth place with 8.9m and finally Favebook takes tenth place with 8.4m.

    Ladles and Gentlespoons, it has to be said that quality has made up for quantity this year, we may be thin on the group but we have sure made up for that with the inane level of production we have seen during the third annual folding month. what this month lacks in surprises and excitement it made up for in sheer clout.

    Before we get into the ranks and awards I want to give thanks, first of all I want to thank everyone who participated, no matter if you folded billions of points, or a handful of points, it truly is only a great event because all of you guys get involved.

    I also want to thank the team behind the scenes, @leadeater deserves our thanks because he is the one who created the script that revolutionised the way in which we handle data, and it has continued to work without flaw during this event(Minus the human error at the start of the event). @marknd59 has been a massive help with validating the points for the daily updates ensuring we could be confident of the data we were publishing. @cbigfoot jumped in to help with points validation from time to time, especially after mark fell ill. @ssmmdd and @j1philli also helped with the event. I'm sorry if anyone from the events team has been missed.

    Please can all make sure we donate a few dollars to Jason over at EOC, his servers must have taken a beating with all the traffic we have thrown at the guy over the last month or so. You can either use this PayPal link or find the PayPal donation button on the EOC Website on the left. Don't forget to include a note thanking him so he knows its from team LTT.  My personal go to is, 'From LTT with love' but you are free to write your own note.

    This year has been stressful for many of us, with great amounts of uncertainty and anxiety. It can easily be said that for some of us this year has been the most difficult in living memory. We have lost jobs, savings, our homes and even our loved ones, but here, on this forum we stand together, we stand strong and united. We are just one team of many working together to seek out knowledge where there was only a void before. To further the understanding of human health, to maximise our comprehension of diseases. This is a noble task, and for that, I salute you all.

    List of the honoured dead

    It is a sad time when we see the demise of our hardware, even more sad when that hardware holding out a few more days or weeks would have secured a better position.

    LpoolTech's Mouse
    CBigfoot's SeaSonic 750 Gold PSU
    John Anti's 2 x  AF120LED case fans
    Gorgons's Gigabyte b450M DS3H
    Justpoets's APC 1500 UPS batteries
    rodarkone's Alphacool Eisbaer 240
    Homeofmew's Hard Drive
    Unilever's Zotac 2080ti amp extreme, 1 cheap 256GB SSD, and 2 EVGA 750 PSU's
    Yaboistar's centre fan on their 1080Ti
    Rybo's MSI 970 Gaming motherboard
    Jack Nafier's Dell Inspirion 5570
    Wall03's RX 470 4GB
    Baha's Zotac GTX 970

    Rest In Piece Valiant hardware, there is a special place in silicon heaven(Red Dwarf Reference right there) for you, lest we forget.

    Now, it is time to get to what we have all waited for, THE RANKS!

    In first place we have @Den-Fi, taking his throne for the second time. ALL HAIL THE KING! Sitting in what can only be called a very comfortable seat with 2,342,017,007 points he never really looked like loosing. Our previous best point total for any event was 886,386,763 points set during the last folding month. The most interesting point to make of his astounding victory is the fact that ran all of his hardware himself and didn't sport a single mercenary during the event.

    In Second place we have @Macaw2000, the king of the mercenaries, he may have gain his position by the use of cloud computing but with 1,641,029,686 points we won't hold that against him. Our second person to have over one billion points for a folding event your name should be revered like royalty.

    In third place we have @rodarkone, our third and final person to breach the one billion points barrier during folding month with 1,044,854,657 points to their name during this event has claimed this respectable position. Let your pride beam from you like the searing glow of a searchlight in the night.

    4th place is filled by newbie @Unilevers with 941,856,695 points, this is still better than our historical best and a fine score to achieve during the event.

    5th place is filled by @miker07with 845,682,351 points, down one position from last folding month.

    6th @Gorgonwith 843,750,865 points.

    7th @Shlouskiwith 657,555,359 points.

    8th @_Rlockewith 651,385,368 points.

    9th  @LAR_Systems with 542,632,893 points.

    10th @Justaphf with 521,033,918 points.

    If you don't see your name on the sheet above you either did not sign up for this event or you did not meet the minimum requirements. All event badges will be handed out without any intervention needed from you guys, PLEASE DO NOT message me or the team about event badges. These badges are handled internally by the mod team and will be distributed shortly.

    The winners will have 7 working days from the publication of this post to claim the prize, if the prize goes unclaimed it may be raffled again, if it is not then it will be added to the community pool for future events. In order to claim the Prize you will need to PM me here on the forum, with the subject;

    'I am here to claim what is rightfully mine!'

    To claim an Amazon voucher you will need to produce some details such as email and the amazon region you use. f you use a currency different to USD we will give you the closest amount in your own currency.

    Now onto the little announcements!

    The first to come is the new higher folding badge thresholds, these new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. The new thresholds below will come into force on January 1st, 2021. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.

    The second announcement is the new rules for future events, these rules are still preliminary and we are awaiting final confirmation from the mod team. these rules are subject to change;

    Failing to meet the minimum requirements.

    Publicly discussing the administration of the event;
    If you have an issue with the way in which the event is being conducted please reach out to an appropriate member of the event team.

    Signing up to the event with a folding identity that is believed to not be your own.

    Signing up to the event with more than one folding identity.

    Conducting yourself in a manner that is believed to be not in the spirit of the event, this includes but not limited to the below;
    purposefully only meeting the minimum requirements, acting to undermine the integrity of the event, to attempt to cause division within the community.

    Breaking any one of these rules will result in a disqualification from the event. It is also important to know that there is no appeal process for disqualifications.

    In regards to the issue of the corrected end date of the event that was raised on the event thread today, it was decided that the revision will stand, the event will be concluded on the 15th of November as planned.

    Also, due to this, future events will have new rules. We have always tried to keep rules to a minimum as folding events are supposed to be fun community events based on mutual respect and understanding. These rules have been mostly decided and we are awaiting approval by the mod team, but they will most probably be announced on the awards ceremony post.

    Now, onto the reason we are all here; The ranks!
    In first place we have the venerable Den-Fi with 2,060.20 million points, second place is filled by Macaw2000 who outproduced the king this time around with 1,436.54 million points and third place is taken by rodarkone with 934.43 million points. The maker of snacks galore takes fourth place with 859.11 million points followed by Miker07 in fifth place with 782.91 million points and Gorgon takes sixth place with 765.51 million points. Shlouski takes the next spot with 596.09 million points and _Rlocke takes eighth place with 587.91 million points. In first place we have Den-Fi, who got so close to two billion points, but with 1,998.91 million points he certainly has no reason to be labelled as anything other than a crazy cat GPU lady, Macaw2000 takes second place with 1,374.61 million points, and rodarkone in sitting in third with  897.94 million points. Unilevers, the maker of tasty snacks finds themselves in fourth place with 833.06 million points, miker07 has 756.09 million points taking fifth place. Gorgon takes sixth place with 739.62 million points followed distantly by Shlouski in seventh place with 577.86 million points and then we have _Rlocke with 566.12 million points. Ninth place we have LAR_Systems, the master of the great folding database with 467.49 million points and finally the gatekeeper is Justaphf, someday I wish to learn what a 'phf' actually is, with 545.37 million points.

    We are now into the fifth and final week of the event, this is usually a time a little change and cementing positions. We have seen some amazing production during this event taking us to heights never seen before during any LTT folding event.

    Den-Fi sits in first place with 1,788.35 million points, followed by Macaw2000 in second place with 1,207.94 million points. rodarkone finds themselves in third place 788.97 million points, Unilevers is in fourth with 753.85 million points and miker07 is in fifth place with 678.84 million points. Gorgon finds himself in sixth place with 659.19 million points, Shlouski comes up next in seventh place with 517.65 million points. Eighth place is _Rlocke with  502.77 million points with ninth place being LAR_Systems with 417.70 million points. Finally the gate keeper continues to be Justaphf with 406.69 million points.

    DISCLAIMER: There was an error with the update that failed to add todays production to that of the previous weeks, the sheet has been corrected but the blog post above will be incorrect. Due to this it has been struck off.

    We are getting to the point of the event where the ranks are mostly set and we are unlikely to see any major upset, especially in the higher ranks on the table. But will continue to monitor the situation to see if any surprise packages rear their head over the closing days of the event.

    Honestly there's not much to talk about here so I am going to forgo the usual rankings and take this blog post to instead talk about why we fold. As I am sure you all know the world is currently in the grips of a viral pandemic that spreads across all continents, and has touched every country. Now, in recent times it is this pandemic that has been taking a major part of the computational power of the network, but there is other research that is being done.

    Causes like cancer for instance, where it is hoped that by gaining better ideas around the development of cancers could lead to better treatments. I haven't talked about this much on here but my step-mum was  diagnosed with breast cancer just before the event started and has recently undergone surgery. it is hoped that there will be little need for further high aggressive treatment but it could still be another week or two before we know what, if any further treatment is required.

    So, as much as this is a competition, it is sometimes nice to look back, at everyone else on the team, and all the other teams; to realise that we are all working together, towards improving human knowledge, human understanding. I think it is easy to forget that some of the work we are doing is right on the bleeding edge of human medical research.

    Make sure you all take a short time to just appreciate what it is you are actually doing, what you are contributing towards.

    The ever present and benevolent Den-fi continues his reign of chaos with 1,148.52 million points, producing over ten percent of the entire events output today is certainly looking undefeatable by this point in the event. Macaw2000 has made himself comfortable in second place with a very admirable 742.45 million points, and rodarkone is in third place with 689.07 million points. Unilevers is still sitting in fourth with 521.16 million points, miker07 is in fifth place with 475.67 million points, Gorgon takes sixth place with 461.21 million point. Then we see a large drop in the production levels, Shlouski takes 7th place with 371.89 million points, _Rlocke is on 8th place with 362.25 million points and LAR_Systems, the master of the great folding database takes 9th place with 291.64 million points. Finally we have justaphf in the gatehouse with 287.81 million points.

    Den-Fi is really looking unbeatable sitting on his throne with 839.32 million points, rodarkone has managed to maintain second place with 548.56 million points, but they will almost certainly be overtaken by Macaw2000 in third place with 540.28 million points. Unilevers, the making of all the unhealth snack foods has remained in fourth place with 412.93 million points. Miker07 is looking relatively comfortable in fifth place with 374.32 million points, but Gorgon is certainly more comfortable in sixth place with 364.20 million points. Shlouski who is in 7th place with 290.35 million points is looking like he could be challenged by _Rlocke who is currently in 8th place with 281.41 million points. Justaphf is in 9th place with 229.30 million points and LAR_Systems remains at his post in the gatehouse with 228.80 million points.

    Dr.Roboknopp has overtaken me on the table once again fielding an impression production for today; there's not much else to comment on today with the rankings starting to settle out, but there is most assuredly still time to see some upsets

    Day six has come and gone, rodarkone has surpassed 200m points for the event, but Den-Fi ain't too far behind, DirectingGnu2 looks like he could be making a push and Macaw2000 is certainly looking likes he's finally in the game.

    rodarkone continues his benevolent reign sitting on the throne with 201.87 million points, The fallen king Den-Fi continues his form in second place but falling ever so slightly behind with 199.40 million points, I still don't trust the guy when he says he's going all out if I'm being honest, but we shall see. Third place Unilevers continues to make his position more comfortable, bagging himself 148.07 million points, so far it is not looking like anyone can challenge the top three, but as the veterans know, anything can happen over the next four weeks. Gorgon continues in fourth place sitting on 134.28 million points, but he will have to remain vigilant as Miker07 in fifth place has had a bumper day and could see him closing on the veteran folder if he manages to maintain higher production. 6th place Shlouski(Yes I spelt it right this time) has little chance of making their way higher up the rankings with 95.8m points. _Rlocke in 7th with 90.9 million points should be careful, with his low production today he could very much see his place on the rankings sink without some proactive measures being taken. Justaphf is looking isn't looking solid with his 80.7m points, DirectingGnu2 looks to be eyeing up that number 8 spot, with 77.5m points they aren't too far behind and we could see then moving up the table at this rate. Finally we have the gatekeeper at number 10 with 74.2m points. Looking down the table Macaw2000 could become a real threat to him as we all know what Mr 2k is capable of if he really pushes his mercenaries.
