  1. Thanks @Dreckssackblasei have an old potato mini pc I am trying to find so I can get make a bootable usb of windows 10 to see if I can repair windows that way. do you think I should do windows 11 instead and just do a clean install? windows update kept saying I don’t have secure boot enabled, even though I did…
  2. thanks for your message I tried the “load optimised defaults” and it still boots back into bios Then putting it back into windows UEFI mode….
  3. Hi guys, I managed to upset my brand new PC trying to do windows update to get windows 11. Their app said I can’t as I need to enable secure boot but when I changed it in bios and came back, it still said I had the same problem. Went back into the bios and tried un-enabling and re-enabling it and now it just keeps loading back into the bios when ever I reboot the system, without pressing f2. it can see my m.2 but In boot menu it says I have no bootable device. Any idea how I can get back into windows please? Why is windows being such an arse anyway? I totally meet the requirements according to this from ASUS but that’s by-the-by until I can at least figure out what I messed up that’s preventing me from getting back into windows. “2021/07/24 20.24 MBytes ROG STRIX X570- GAMING BIOS 4005 Support Windo/Vs 11 by default, no settings changes required in the UEFI BIOS” Details of the dream pc: Windows 10 pro 64 bit x570i Motherboard ryzen 5900x coolee master 850sfx psu 3090fe Spent over a year hunting a 3080 and ended up getting the 3090FE at msrp for cheaper than any 3080 I could find. Saved up for 10 years and had to get really deep into procurement to get the parts but am a complete and utter ignoramus, hence why I managed to mess up a brand new pc! Any help much much appreciated thankx, Annie
  4. and thank you @Eighjanfor the pc part picker list, i am adding some extra bits to it. hey, you can get a 3080ti but it will only cost you £10000
  5. but what is the secret to finding one at MSRP? i have been following all the links from the nvidia website since the 3080 launch almost every day and was there and clicking like mad for the 3080ti launch to no avail.

  7. Budget (including currency): up to £3200 Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: anime rpg / JRPG Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): have LG CX 55 4k120hz Ideally Lian Li Dynamic 001 mini SNOW EDITiON, lian li strimmer cable, lian LI AIO 2 fans on the right side of the motherboard and three lian li argb fans top and bottom, corsair or kingston white rgb ram etc…. Hi guys, thursday was a miserable day, just as bad as the 3080 launch where i was refreshing the website every minute until the very second the 3080ti became available but but yet again my milliseconds response did not take me to a page where you could “add to cart” and with half an hour of retrying, it eventually got the out of stock label. Same in all the retailers i know. i know they have stock as they are available in Pre-built systems! Currently the 3090 systems are the same price as the 3080ti ones so i may as well, although i must say i have no Need for a 3090, i just am at the end of my teather having been trying to buy a new pc for a few years now and at least a 3090 could make me a few pennies more than the 3080ti during the winter months where i could use the pc instead of gas central heating. Would you guys just accept how things are and buy a Pre-built, since that is clearly the only way to get a graphics card these days? If so, can you recommend any shops in the UK please? I would get one that has the Ryzen 9 5900x and hopefully be able to make use of the motherboard to transplant it into the Lian Li 011 Mini Snow Edition I am a beginner and only built a PC once and it was with a friend at university who was very helpful as i have a really poor attention span for challenging tasks. Also there is the matter at hand conserving my dream chassis, that is all white… A chunky black graphics card would look all wrong surrounded by white everything and the asus white cards don’t seem to be in stock anywhere. There is a Galac Hall of Fame 3090 that is available at msrp for £2500 that would be cheaper to buy with the other parts than a pre-built 3080ti system!!!! i would be very grateful for your advice please. Until then, i’m still stuck at home alone with nothing but an ipad for gaming on. I can’t handle more months of trawling the same sites over and over again looking for stock! many thanks, Annie in the uk
