  1. i found that it only updated after your first day. Now I'm seeing it update on a per hour basis.
  2. while I love that you're trying to get more compute online pls know that you need at least one slot between those cooler designs. Otherwise you'll choke the air supply and the blocked GPU will run hot, potentially shutting down as you run a cuda heavy program (F@H) on it. but maybe it's just the photo angle. is there a slot between them?
  3. I was thinking it was the spam filter too but I ultimately got my passkey email on my gmail and never got it on my work email - and it's not in my work email spam server quarantine. so I'm kinda stumped.
  4. I'm seeing the opposite. GPU WUs and no CPU. So I have BOINC (Rosetta@Home) going on the CPU as well.
  5. yes that worked for me too. I stopped after finishing current WU (on CPU) and restarted and I was able to finish my upload of the stuck GPU. and I too am getting back to back work.
  6. that's caused by a known bug with Chromium w.r.t. the localStorage element. if you use IE it'll be ok. some have had luck running in Incognito mode too (since that disables localStorage element). You'll have the same proble with Edge as I understand it, it is using Chromium Engine.

  10. I am worried about that too - as I've been getting them a lot. I have to assume it's the server being swamped and the packet receive timeout. Thus zero bytes. I also worry about accepting jobs when the server is swamped. Later in my log the server dumps the result. Granted it was during this run that I added my passkey so maybe that corrupted the job. 21:19:52:WU02:FS00:Upload 26.52% 21:19:58:WU02:FS00:Upload 53.05% 21:20:04:WU02:FS00:Upload 75.78% 21:20:11:WU02:FS00:Upload complete 21:20:11:WU02:FS00:Server responded WORK_QUIT (404) 21:20:11:WARNING:WU02:FS00:Server did not like results, dumping 21:20:11:WU02:FS00:Cleaning up
  11. I do wonder if the GPU workloads are doing COVID work. The description doesn't ever populate. I do think it's doing generic folding using openMM and is helping research in general but I don't know if it directly helps the search for the protein fold for COVID. 20:42:11:WU03:FS01:Running FahCore: "C:\Program Files (x86)\FAHClient/FAHCoreWrapper.exe" C:\Users\edwar\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\cores/cores.foldingathome.org/v7/win/64bit/Core_22.fah/FahCore_22.exe -dir 03 -suffix 01 -version 705 -lifeline 13524 -checkpoint 15 -gpu-vendor nvidia -opencl-platform 0 -opencl-device 0 -cuda-device 0 -gpu 0 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:Started FahCore on PID 21460 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:Core PID:7360 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:FahCore 0x22 started 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:*********************** Log Started 2020-03-18T20:42:12Z *********************** 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:*************************** Core22 Folding@home Core *************************** 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Type: 0x22 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Core: Core22 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Website: https://foldingathome.org/ 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Copyright: (c) 2009-2018 foldingathome.org 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Author: John Chodera <john.chodera@choderalab.org> and Rafal Wiewiora 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: <rafal.wiewiora@choderalab.org> 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Args: -dir 03 -suffix 01 -version 705 -lifeline 21460 -checkpoint 15 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: -gpu-vendor nvidia -opencl-platform 0 -opencl-device 0 -cuda-device 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: 0 -gpu 0 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Config: <none> 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:************************************ Build ************************************* 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Version: 0.0.2 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Date: Dec 6 2019 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Time: 21:30:31 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Repository: Git 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Revision: abeb39247cc72df5af0f63723edafadb23d5dfbe 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Branch: HEAD 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Compiler: Visual C++ 2008 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Options: /TP /nologo /EHa /wd4297 /wd4103 /Ox /MT 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Platform: win32 10 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Bits: 64 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Mode: Release 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:************************************ System ************************************ 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: CPU ID: AuthenticAMD Family 23 Model 8 Stepping 2 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: CPUs: 12 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Memory: 15.93GiB 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:Free Memory: 8.73GiB 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: Threads: WINDOWS_THREADS 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: OS Version: 6.2 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:Has Battery: true 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: On Battery: false 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: UTC Offset: -7 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: PID: 7360 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: CWD: C:\Users\edwar\AppData\Roaming\FAHClient\work 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: OS: Windows 10 Home 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22: OS Arch: AMD64 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:******************************************************************************** 20:42:12:WU03:FS01:0x22:Project: 11756 (Run 0, Clone 104, Gen 9) The background CPU job does fill in and is doing COVID. 12. F@H servers as of a couple of hours ago now have Work Units to run. (They had been overloaded with the massive influx of new F@H clients.) They are now emailing out passkeys as that server had been down too. I have been getting back-to-back Work Units for COVID. They definitely had some scaling issues with compute to get the Work Units created and Storage to accept finished WUs. But it all seems to be online now. Don't wait for the competition... Get folding now so we can get a vaccine faster. Hours count as people are dying.
