  1. I tried to plug it in to my old PC and it recognize it in the BIOS but once again it doesn't show up in Windows. It did show a Local disk (:D) with blank space where usually the available space is but I can't open it. I found out that the drive now have RAW partition in another reply.
  2. No, I just checked it and it didn't show anything. Also an update: I tried replugging again and boot the system in Safe Mode, now I can see it in File Explorer but it only says Local data with no available space, like the bottom is blank. I tried looking in disk management and I see that this drive now have 500GB of RAW healthly partition?
  3. So today I encountered a problem with my PC, I decided to turn it on and I noticed that one of my drives were missing. I checked File Explorer, Disk Management, Device Manager, I don't see my drive at all. Weirdly enough, when I try to look at my BIOS, I see the drive is there and detected. Same as Intel Rapid Storage Technology app, it detected the drive. It's an old Seagate 500GB drive with quite a lot of important stuff and I haven't backed it up in a while. I've tried swapping SATA cables & ports and it's still not detected by Windows. The other 2 drives that I got are perfectly fine so I'm not sure what's wrong. Yesterday was fine too, I was able to use my PC normally and I didn't hear anything bad coming from the drive. It did make a few clicks when I boot it up so maybe it's dying? Anyone can help figuring this out? Thanks!
  4. Well I decided to ask here because I'm not sure what's happening here but my monitors keep doing this for no reason? Not sure what to call this and I haven't found anyone else with this problem yet. This is my monitor in the pic & the pixels are broken around the middle and it sucks alot (the edges are fine). When you turn it off, it looks normal but when it's on, the pixels are like this. Does this have to do with the backlight? My other monitor was also like this. Both of them were fine at the start but after awhile both got this exact problem and can't use my monitors properly. Not sure what's causing this for both of them since they're from different brands & models... (One from Samsung & one from Dell) P.S. These monitors are pretty old too, released a long time ago. (You can see how the edges are very fine compared to the middle in 2nd pic, much less grain/noise?)

  6. I'll see if I can get my hands on another PSU and hopefully my components are fine (fingers crossed)
  7. Yeah there's no lights inside and my RGB keyboard and mouse also doesn't light up My PC specs CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600 RAM: 12GB DDR3 1600 MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  8. Yeah I don't see any lights from my mouse, keyboard, and maybe ethernet? I forgot if ethernet still lights up even when it's off My PC is a 7 year old PC CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4600 RAM: 12GB DDR3 1600 MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
  9. Hey, so I was just doing my usual stuff... Editing while listening to YouTube and such and suddenly my PC turns off for no reason and when I try to turn it back on, it won't start back up again. I suspect it might be the PSU that probably just died, I have tested it with different outlets and such but still nothing. What's going on here? P.S. My temps are fine and wasn't doing intense editing either so I don't really know what's the problem here. EDIT: I've swapped my old broken PSU to a new one and it works now...
  10. I tried almost every way to start safe mode on Google and every single one doesn't work for me (Restarting your PC 3x, F11, F8, etc). Is there any other way it can work?
  11. Well what happened to me was that I changed my resolution and the screen just went total black and I waited for couple of minutes and it's still the same. So I don't know what happened there. There's no confirmation pop up at all when I did it.
  12. Hey! I was playing around with my monitor resolution so I can get better fps. I decided to put my screen Resolution to 1152x648 which made my monitor go black screen. I'm using an old monitor from couple of years ago. I don't know how to fix this since I can't see anything on the screen to change back the resolution to a compatible resolution. I used the Intel Graphics Tools to change the settings before. How can I fix this? I read that I need to go to safe mode? How to do that with a black screen? Thank you in advance! P.S I FIXED IT BY CONNECTING MY PC TO MY TV AND IT WORKS... I managed change the resolution back to normal.
  13. That brand is well-known here atleast where I'm from. But yeah, the manual didn't say anything about FN + W. Well, I just did what you just said (Fn + W) and the keyboard seems to work fine now, thanks alot for the help. I can finally rest now after an hour of troubleshooting. (I even updated windows lol)
