Interfectorem got a reaction from TheRomanSenate in To Noctua or not to Noctua?
My 6 Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 and 2 Noctua NF-A14 iPPC 2000 run at around 750 RPM (all of them, although note that they can spin slower than that) at idle and it's pretty quiet for me. My D5 pump at speed setting of 3 sounds louder than my fans. Although some people find different noise levels as their "quiet".

Anything with CherryMX switches IMO. That includes Corsair (K70 (RGB), K95 (RGB) & Strafe (RGB)), Ducky, Cooler Master, Logitech..That's all I can think of on the top of my head. From there, choose which one you think looks the best, since they're all great keyboards.

Well the AMD FX-6350 is better, but not by much. What's the price difference between the FX-6300 and the FX-6350 for you? If it's less than $10, I woul say it's worth it to get the FX-6350, unless you're really tight on money.

As long as the power supply has one 8-Pin PCI-E connector that is required for the MSI Gaming 4G GTX 960 that you'll be getting. 400w should be enough.

Ok so looks like there's no more member review section, and this is where all the reviews also go? If not, please let me know.

I was sent 4 each of the B14-3 and B14-PS fans from Blacknoise for testing, and the full review is in the source linked above. I do like these fans, but feel they are not as competitive at the current prices- at least in the USA.

    The case setup looks good

(Personally) I would remove the middle drive cage for better air flow.

I agree with Interfectorem, check the fan speed with Afterburner,
possibly try maxing out the fan speed and leaving the side door off on the case to eliminate any possible interior heat issues

Finally, if that doesn't work, contact MSI, see if they'll let your reapply the thermal paste(I recommend notua NT-H1)
if they won't, see about getting the card RMA'ed, because at stock speeds that cooler should keep the card below 70c(imo)

I am very happy with this solder

Rosin core with quite toxic halogen activated flux but you do not have to remove the flux after soldering.

They are also having not that toxic flux, but I never tried it.
    http://www.stannol.de/en/products/solder-wires/?tx_produktselektor_filter%5Baa_prod%5D=HF34&tx_produktselektor_filter%5Baction%5D=show&tx_produktselektor_filter%5Bcontroller%5D=Product&cHash=d5c767dc945f02f34b4f63a1d626fc91
Recycling it is important but during soldering the fumes of the flux are a bigger health risk.

i7-5820K is your best bet. The other CPU's listed before that are last generation and not really sold much. The i7-5930K has almost identical performance to the 5820K and a lot more expensive, so the 5820K is your best bet.

Yes you should be able to. I've seen PlastiDip and Lowe's and Home Depot, not sure about Michaels however.

It won't add a noticeable bulk to the card. Yes, PlastiDip, when dried, has a Matte finish to it.

I would use PlastiDip personally since you can peel it off if you're not pleased with the results.

I don't think I've seen one of those simple white label Rustoluem can in a long long time while but yes it will work, note that it is a gloss finish.  I woudl recommend the Duplicolor stuff if you have it available cause I think that is a more generic white similar to the regular hardware store stuff.

If your interested I have a general overview and guide here under GPU Painting and General Painting that goes over this:

Well I kind of put it the wrong way, the 5930K is a waste, so he should get a 5820K and a better GPU and have better performance for the same cost. With the money he saves with the 5820K, he could get a GTX 980 or R9 Fury/R9 Nano.

Interfectorem reacted to HannibalBurgers in What phone should I get?
I have a 6P and absolutely love it, fastest phone I have ever owned hands down. One of the great things about Nexus devices it is that they can be as simple or as complicated as you want them to be. This quality really shines on the 6P because of the "snappiness" of the device. The only concern I had when I initially got the phone was the size, as I was moving over from a Nexus 5. The size is actually just about perfect, maybe a little on the big side because it can be a little difficult to put in a pocket, but that's more of a trend with all phones than a problem with the 6P.
    So, +1 for the 6P.

Sorry for my excitement, but hell yes the Nexus 6P is a great phone! I personally own one so this post is pretty biased. I'll reiterate a lot of the points @HannibalBurgers made about it. First off, it's a very fast device that never hiccups or shows signs of slowing down (At least during my usage). The camera is outstanding IMO, and destroys my brother's Note 4 in low light scenarios. I used my phone to take pictures of my PC (Which you can find in my signature), which were done in pretty shitty dim warm light. Battery life is also a plus, I've never had my phone die on me and get around 3hr 30min to 4hr 30min screen on time during my normal usage (Browsing reddit mainly). The build quality is nice and you can get a good grip on the phone, despite me having pretty small hands (I'm 5' 5"). If you'd like to anything specific about it, ask and I'll be glad to help.

Interfectorem got a reaction from ClobberXD in Colorful DIMM Heat-Spreaders : Are they even worth it?!
I serves to improve the aesthetics is all really. RAM sticks don't produce enough heat to warrant a heatsink. Bare RAM sticks look a bit more ugly IMO than ones that have a heatspreader.

As for soldering irons some of the best ones I've used before would probably be theses Hakko units:
    http://www.amazon.com/Hakko-FX888D29BY-ESD-Safe-Digital-Soldering/dp/B00OSM27T8/ref=sr_1_16?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1454552900&sr=1-16

As for solder that depends what you use usually but good old leaded stuff works really well, the new lead free stuff just doesn't tin or flow as well. Look for Rosin core solder since it has the flux needed built into the solder.
